Yeah, I feel he'll give Manny his toughest fight in the last 5 or so years and as much as I gotta support my Ghanaian brother, the mind says Manny gets the W.

I was all for and become a big Pac-man fan after the past yr. but I have a strange feeling that he wont be as prepare or focus on this fight because the Mayweather fight didnt go thur and him running for office next month. Dont get me wrong ... he's the best fighter right now, but just dont think he'll be at his top tomorrow. I think it'll go all 12 rd.
That is part of being the world's best.. Look at Yuna Kim for example (yes it's figure skating, but still) She had a whole country behind her, endorsement deals, national holiday for whenever she skates the whole nation stops and watches... When it was time for the big stage, the winter games, she outperformed and broke the world record for the most points in full program skating history... I'm pretty sure pac will be more than ready, and come tomorrow hoping he'll get the job done and on to mayweather/mosley... I'm hoping for a pac/mosley showdown...
People like this should not be allowed on the internet. (1)Pacquiao has never failed a drug test, (2)he's had bad experience(s) with blood testing before the fight (Morales), (3)he didn't turn down a request by the organization If you're P4P king who fought your way to the top, should you give into demands made by a clown? Pacquiao's camp negotiated the terms of the testing with the opposition a number of time/ways, and in fact, came to terms once again with Golden Boy Promotions but when they brought the contract back to Mayweather, he turned it down. Many people feel that Mayweather had no intentions of fighting Pacquiao. If the boxing organization/Nevada Athletic Commission requested blood tests and Pacquiao turned them down, then we as fans have something to be suspicious about, but it was an arrogant, trash-talking opponent that made the additional "requirement", one that no boxer in the history of boxing has made. I also find it strange that the Mayweather family, one that has a background in drug addiction and violence, has to nerves to go public with accusations without proof. It really is a sad case of "ghetto" people being allowed to speak their minds. Anyway, I am, like many others out here, a fan of humble/likable people, so this fight has no problems. I don't really care if Clottey wins, but I'd like Pacquiao to win -- possibly setting up for a bigger match later in the year. Hoping for a good and entertaining fight.
Not that you want to move the thread to D&D, right? Maybe Mayweather family is (again) super smart and is driving up the price and intrigue of the eventual fight. That's pretty much was Pacquiao's trainer speculated about the whole thing. And I don't know, after watching that Cotto video above... I want to put a lot of money on Pacquiao by TKO.
Clottey doesn't even have good footwork and defense. I have a feeling he's going down real fast if he tries to be aggressive/trade punches with Pac Man.
HBO did as great a job as a reality show like The Bachelor and other VH1 shows do in editing that fight "highlight" clip. Clottey had a better fight than what they edited.

Pac is a great boxer, but overrated by the media, it's not going to be a stroll in the park as some are making it out to be. Between these two, Pac's the better boxer, but he's not that good that Clottey doesn't stand a chance. I want Clottey to win just because he's the underdog, plus he seems to be a really good guy.
LOL! Overrated? Have you been living under a rock? On his last 3 matches. They all went and said he will get dominated and was considered the underdog. He went out the prove them all wrong by destroying all 3 of them soundly. So now he's getting credit to be the clear winner and you're saying he's overrated? Wanna know who's overrated? Chris Bosh.
You sound like a couple of my Filipino friends, they have a hard on for him too . If you read my post again without letting your mancrush feelings get in the way, you'll see I did state he was a "great boxer". The media however makes him out to be the best thing to ever hit the boxing ring, that is not true. He's good but not THAT good. Unfortunately boxing has been in the dumpster for quite a while, Pac seems to be bringing back a lot of interest, and thats great, but IMO they are trying to sell this guy a little too much, hence my overrated comment.
If Boxing experts say Manny is one of the All time Boxing greats then I'm sire that means he's not overrated. The fact that he brought the most excitement to Boxer in the last decade and he's not a Heavyweight speaks to his greatness.
Mancrush? I'm just giving credit to where credit is due. Tell me. Who's the most exciting fighter(s) in the last 5 years compare to Pac Man? MOst other fights out there are either slow or boring. Manny fights are always entertaining.
