He doesn't want to commit to Floyd's demands. Their stance is that if the state athletic commission wants random blood testing, their fine with it. They don't want to do it because its Floyd that is insisting on the testing. Manny has never tested positive or failed any drug test he has took in his career. Its not like the Shane Mosley situation. He had to take to the test to clear the air. Like Nazim Richardson, Mosley's trainer, said, "You got to be really good to whoop guys and folks start to say you're on steriods." Both guys have huge egos and they're trying to get each other to budge. Gonna be tough.

so you make a concession so neither side gets exactly what he wants.

14 days before the fight is what mayweather was willing to agree to...pac wouldn't. sorry...but even if he's not hiding something....it LOOKS like he's hiding something.

Mayweather's 41-0 record reminds me of the Patriots record of 18-0 when they were unbeatable in the regular season.. Then after a couple of good post game wins it was evident that they were going to be the best team ever until the giants beat em, (an underdog team)... Manny gonna be the giants come fight night against Floyd, and he gonna send his butt back to Michigan..

Of course it looks like that. Just as Mayweather hoped it would. He is the master of mind games. Its the principal of the issue. Let's say a non-American guy with a clean record moves into a Rich, upscale neighborhood in the suburbs. His neighbor, which is worried about the safety of the neighborhood, ask the new guy if he could search his house because he thinks the new guy is selling drugs. Does the new guy allow the neighbor to search his house? If he has an ounce of pride, then no. Does the neighbor have any right to search the new guys house? No because he doesn't have any authoritative control.

I know its not the greatest analogy but its close. Anyone with a sense of boxing knowledge will tell you that steroids don't make you a better boxer. If this was the same boxer that fought at lightweight, then people have a point. But he's a more refined boxer-puncher now as opposed to merely the one dimensional slugger he once was.

And what exact steroids is he supposedly on? The only thing I've heard is the Mayweathers said he is on something called A-Side Meth. Which supposedly makes you walk through bullets.

What a bunch of BS. If he's clean he'll take the random testing. There's nothing else to discuss. Nothing.

Pacquiao's not obligated to have himself subjected to a test. Like mentioned many times, if Floyd wants his crusade against PEDs by making blood tests mandatory, he should take his case to a regulatory body like the NSAC. As it stands, any blood test is just a part of negotiations, not fight procedure. Likewise, Pacquiao's not getting anything out of conceding to Floyd's demand for a blood test.

Pacquiao's excuses have been many, some laughable like how he's superstitious, and some were downright lies like how he hasn't done a blood test <30 days before a fight but footage of him getting one for his bout with Ricky Hatton was found - on 24/7, of all places - but I do find his claim about how the test'll impact his performance a worthy cause for concern. What if they're true and we'll be seeing a weak Pacquiao on fight night because of it? Again, this the reason they need to have a governing body institute a carefully studied standardized test.

How about they both take the performance enhancing drug so they can be the best specimen boxing has ever seen.. Throw in some bats and swords in there and have them do it Gladiator style.. Will that work???

How much blood do they take? Gallons? I honestly cannot believe they take so much blood that it would really weaken him on fight night.

And while I get the whole negotiation thing, it amuses me that Pac supporters think he should "get something" for agreeing to test for drugs/PEDs. Some concession. What do I get for proving I'm clean? Um nothing.

What about ALL the Olympic athletes who take the tests? They seem to be doing just fine.

If he feels blood testing will effect him, what can you tell him? Even if its more mentally than physically. And if its mental, which is most likely is, it will effect him. Its like how some athletes don't have sex before a game or how Rip continues to wear his mask. Sure it may be extremely dumb but I'm not going to hate Manny for not submitting to additional drug testing that Floyd is demanding.. People want to bring up how hes turning down a $40 Million dollar drug test or whatever but he's not Money May. He isn't just only about the money like Floyd. A fighter like Manny, pride will come first. He is not like Shane where hes looking for a huge pay day.

    LOL

You are comparing a blood test that athletes around the world take with no effect prior to competing in the Olympics to a guy being paranoid from having his face broken and athletes being worried about having sex the night of a big event?

Stop rationalizing! I like Pac better than Floyd, but the excuses are lame.

A grandmother has shocked her friends and family after revealing she is having a baby with her own grandson.

Granny, 72, Having A Baby With Her Grandson

Pearl Carter, 72, says she has never been happier after beginning an incestuous relationship with her 26-year-old grandchild Phil Bailey.

The pensioner, from Indiana, US, is using her pension to pay a surrogate mother so they can have a child, reports New Zealand's New Idea magazine.

She said: "I'm not interested in anyone else's opinion. I am in love with Phil and he's in love with me.

"Soon I'll be holding my son or daughter in my arms and Phil will be the proud dad."

Her lover is the son of Pearl's daughter Lynette Bailey - who she put up for adoption when she was 18-years-old.

When his mother passed away, Phil tracked down his long lost grandmother and they quickly fell in love.

Pearl told New Idea magazine: "From the first moment that I saw him, I knew we would never have a grandmother-grandson relationship.

"For the first time in years I felt sexually alive."

It was during their second week together, after dinner and wine, that Pearl made her move.

"I called Phil into my bedroom, sat him on the bed, and then I leant over and kissed him," she added.

"I expected rejection but instead he kissed me back."

Phil revealed: "I wanted to kiss her there and then. My feelings were overwhelming.

"I love Pearl with all my heart. I've always been attracted to older women and I think Pearl is gorgeous. Now I'm going to be a dad and I can't wait.

"Yes, we get laughed at and bullied when we go out and kiss in public but we don't care. You can't help who you fall for."

The pair paid $54,000 (£35,000) to find a surrogate mother and buy a donor egg to inseminate with Phil's sperm.

They placed an advert asking for an open-minded surrogate, and Roxanne Campbell applied.

"Initially I was shocked," says Roxanne, 30. "But they're a brilliant pair and I saw how much they loved each other. I know the baby will be loved too."

Pearl said: "I am finally going to be a mum and not forced to give up my child. Phil's going to be a great dad.

"I never in a million years thought at 72 I'd be 'pregnant' and in love with my grandson.

"I make no apologies and I believe God's given me a second chance."

I don't know, to be honest. Probably not but probably isn't enough. There's a need to be definitive. A standardized test that can assure no impact on the performance of the fighter needs to be made and that's what governing bodies are for.

He's not obligated to prove anything and, considering how he hasn't given even a peep, he doesn't care what people think, apparently.

    Quoted for truth.

I think that a lot of you disliking Floyd's fighting style/attitude/mouth has blinded you to the fact that it's REALLY SHADY that the Pac-man won't submit to the testing. I mean, really, if you have nothing to hide, a finger-prick isn't a big deal.

"But he's afraid of giving blood". Yeah, but for $40mm and to be the undisputed best fighter of your era? He's hiding something. It's a finger-prick.

I like Manny better and I think he can beat Floyd, but I do think he cheats now when before I did not.

Agreed ask any normal person about this and they'd all say the same thing. He has something to hide if he's ducking drug tests.

Come on man. The tests are definitively NOT going to impact his performance. If Olympic athletes are able to compete fine without ill effects from a blood test, why would Pac be any different?

Sure he isn't obligated. And Floyd isn't obligated to fight him. It is funny though that Floyd gets labeled as the one ducking because he wants Pac to take an noninvasive blood test and Pac refuses.
