why in the world is everyone jumping on this comment i made. it was merely a comment that you'd rather have everything go wrong and lose by 20 and hope things revert next game than have have a few things go right for 2 straight games and still lose them by 2 or 3 points each. the whole "haters" vs "nuthuggers" dynamic that every discussion in the nba dish apparently must have is getting tiring.
Because a lot of people don't really watch basketball. They watched their 'own' team play only and not other teams.

So wait, Sactown ran his mouth and now won't show his face? I has a shock. Actually, his trash talking made me realize we also haven't seen Miami superfan Octavanius this season. 2-1 Indiana.Pretty impressive, but a long way from finished. The Roy Hibbert coming out party was exactly what they needed. Without Bosh, the Heat are desperately lacking in frontcourt length. It's more than his direct contributions, it's a domino effect as Miami scrambles to guard both West and Hibbert, protect the rim, grab rebounds, and execute the high pick and roll. Bosh is hardly Mutombo, but he's the foundation of all those things. Turiaf and Anthony (and James) are over their heads without him to work off of. Miami badly out rebounded, and their fast break offense has been stifled. Bad news since that is a huge component of their style of play. And we'll see how big a deal the latest Wade-Spoelstra tiff is. It's clear they've never really respected him, and don't appreciate a non-player talking to them when things are not going well.
Wade collapses at the end of Game 2, and is the worst player on the court in Game 3. Overrated? I think so. LeBron has to be thinking WTF.
Because he's never played with the attitude that he played with tonight. He's always been kind of a passive guy. If he was in the right spot, he could make a play.... but tonight he forced his way to the right spot, and he made sure there wasn't anybody that would stop him. That's the Roy Hibbert everyone has been begging for since he was in college.
Or? Hibbert had only about 3 games this season you could try to argue were better than what he did to the Heat tonight. Centers have had the easiest time cracking the ASG for the last 15 years.
Don't worry, people. This is just an effort to get anti-Miami fans to watch the games trying to see the Pacers win. But Stern will make sure the right team will come out on top in the end for basketball reasons. After all, he needs to repeat this process in the ECF and the finals. Love them or hate them, Miami is a rating magnet. There's no way such a cash cow can die in the 2nd round.
Wow I didn't expect a blowout. Missed the game! Looks like a defensive beatdown and I'm betting there was a lot of whining on Miami's side about getting no free throws. Also, Miami only had 9 assists the whole night. Was the game as ugly as that stat suggests?
