I like this Pacers team, and think they are only 1-2 years away from being a legit title contender. However, this year they just don't have the horses to hang with the likes of Miami. Heat in 5.
I'd give the Pacers a chance if Hibbert was taking a step forward, but Indiana is getting crushed if he can only slip in 11 a game or so. He has to be a mismatch that throws off Miami, but I don't think he's got it in him.
why is he hating on the heat if he thinks that the Pacers may have a chance against them? the word "hater" has lost all meaning nowadays...
Can't believe how many people underestimate the Pacers. Indiana has a very solid team with five quality starters and strong bench. They are the second best team in the East. This series is going at least 6 and either side can win it.
pacers in seven. the divas will average their 90 points combined but the pacers will lock down everyone else.
Heat will win the championship and Pacers are not going to be just a small step in the way. SA or OKC will be Heat's biggest challenge.
I don't know why I wouldn't be shocked if the Pacers won this series even though I feel like I should be.
LOL The Heat aren't even trying. I know the Pacers don't have any glamor/stars, but damn show some effort.
I don't think IND will win, but i think it'll go 5-6 games. It'll depend on Indiana's bigs...Hibbert can dominate if he wants and West is never a bad 2nd option down low. Today their defense looks good and transition buckets have them up early...they're relying on Bosh's idiotic possessions, which is never a bad idea -- if they shut out Wade and Bron and let Bosh try to win the game, they'll have a better chance. Don't know if they can keep that up for a full 48 minutes though.
Key for the Pacers is to play hard, sound defense, clog the paint, prevent the break and not get bogged down on offense for long stretches (especially late in games). If they do most of this, they might win a game or two.
