The Pacers have no one else to blame but themselves.

I can't believe anybody in that thread can compare Stephenson to Artest. I know Artest has gotten into trouble and I don't even expect them to forgive him for the serious harm he did to their franchise, but Artest beat up a man. He's never been accused of spousal abuse to my knowledge. There is a vast difference between assaulting a man whom you believe threw a beer at you and throwing your girlfriend down a flight of stairs. I'm not saying either is right - I'm just saying one is clearly far worse than the other.

Artest has been known for domestic violence. Sure, no one likes a douche who beats his wife, but this isn't the first time.

Artest spent 10 days in jail for domestic abuse, and he has also starved his dogs.

Like Felipe Lopez was the next Michael Jordan

I know New York is basketball mecca, but starting to doubt their player projections lol

It's his parents' and communities fault for treating him like a hero (for playing a sport no less) rather than a human being, and a young one at that, who needed role models and guidance. Hell, the guy was filming a reality show until he got arrested.

Ah. I remember the dogs. I must've missed the domestic abuse charge somehow. I retract my statement then.
