I'm starting week 12 today. When I began, I was 155lbs. I was weak, nonflexible, and had bad balance. Today, I am 168lbs, strong as heck, balanced, flexible, have plenty of endurance, and have a defined 6pk w/o flexing. It was hard and I dreaded doing it at 8pm after I got my 2 yr old to sleep, but it was worth it. I added weight gain shakes 2x per day to a healthy diet to add muscle mass. Just keep pushing play, now I can do 20 straight pull ups with perfect form.

i love reading stuff like this!!! such a motivator. it really is all about just pushing play.

today's the start of my phase 2 recovery week. I am recovering from a nasty stomach bug (was puking all night) so not sure if I can eek out an hour and a half of yoga today.

20 pull ups is pretty impressive. Is that palms facing in or out?

I'm not doing P90x, but I work from home and I've been working out at lunch for a while now, with a mix of pull ups, push ups, crunches, leg lifts and burpees. Right now my max is 15 palms facing in pull ups with so so form.

I'm curious what the max pull ups are for people here who are doing P90X.

No, no...I've cut back NOW. While I lost the initial weight the first time through, I was still drinking black oil beers.

I started off being able to do 2, and now I can get up to 12 at a time on a good day. I generally find reverse grip chin ups (palms inward) to be the easiest type.

Good, but those people doing 30 of recruiting made me feel wimpy lol. I could barely mover my arms the next day. My triceps were killing me. Took the end day off. But pickled it up again and not stopping from now on. I was so out of shape the amount of pain from my arms and chest was insane.

Yeah, imagine what it could have done if I had eaten/drank properly the whole time.

Every time I start back up, the first two weeks is miserable for me. But mine is the shin splints, not the arms.

I did Chest & Back yesterday and oh my... Listening to the interactions between Tony and Maren while knowing the fact that she is a p*rn star adds a whole new dimension to the video.

"She can really bring it. Trust me, I know."

    Ha ha..

Looking at the schedule, I have a question...

Am I reading this correctly: Day 1 is Chest & Back AND Ab Ripper X ?

    Is that right?
