To sum up my opinion of suicide bombers I'm going to quote a line from our very own hometown rapper Scarface. "That's a dopefiend move gone left. I'll kill you, but not myself."
If you read the Congressionial Medal of Honors blurbs for the ones awarded during and after WW2 (many of the pre 1920 ones are political rewards), many of those guys did things akin to suicide to save others. It's inconceivable to me that anyone would have attempted some of those things with any thought of living afterwards.
