Was an proposed deal from bleachers report, it got me thinking. Would they consider this.
Does this mean they got they eyes on Mobley...?
    Can we resign Kelly O?
Could we use the #11 and a combination of picks #23/24, E.Gordon, J.Wall to move up into the top 6 or 7 picks?
I really like Davion Mitchell and Scotty Barnes there.

    What's yall views?

I think this would be great for Charlotte, they big men been bad for awhile and Wood and Lamelo would be a nice combo going forward, plus they have to worry about that next contract not us. He will demand alot if he still 20/10 guy. I also have my reserved thoughts about him been the main guy, he too injury prone imo.

I would think wood’s value is easily in the top 5 pick range. Depending on where in the top 5 we’d need another asset attached.

I’d prefer we find a way to move Wall and Gordon off our roster. Not excited about using C Wood and our trade exceptions to do that but as long as we get some picks and prospects as part of the return it’s worth thinking about. I do think Wood is worth locking up long term but am worried we’ll have to significantly overpay.

I don’t know why our front office was operating last year like we were contending. They should have moved Gordon well before his injury. Now it’s gonna cost us. Between that and the confounding Oladipo pickup and fumble I’m just not sure our front office understands how to rebuild.

Christian Wood put up 21 and 10 last year and shot 37.5% from three.

you don’t trade that for PJ Washington and a late lotto pick.

also hard to see Barnes lasting till 11th.

They probably just decided they’re going to rebuild last night haha. Needless to say but Gordon and wall need to find their way to the exit.

Just a splash of reality here -- C Wood has played for 6 NBA teams in his young career and has had only 1/2 of a good season -- last year -- before getting injured. I like him a lot, but let's not overrate him either.

Keep Wood. He can be a 25-12 guy if he stays healthy this season.

And He’ll space the floor well for JG and KPJ lol

Pass on PJ Washington. Anything that comes out of Hornets are usually trash.

I said lol because this belong in a trade idea thread

I would easily do Wood for #11 and Washington, no second thoughts.

I'd do Wood for #11 alone honestly

Sold - maybe attempt fleece a future protected 1st from them as well?

But PJ Washington is really, really good. And still improving. Would be a sweet fit alongside Mobley, has more brawn than Wood, and could work alongside Olynyk as well (if we re-sign him?).

Pick 11 could still turn out to be a star. Drafts are weird things

I'm not thrilled with PJ Washington but #11 is nice.

Take the deal and trade to package PJ with #11, 23 and 24 to move up. Top 6 is out of the question but the next tier from 7-10 is a good place to be. Davion, moody, keon, Jalen Johnson.

Mobley and Davion Mitchell's defense with KPJ's scoring would be a great combination. or a lengthy wing with some defense like Jalen Johnson next to KPJ and green? would be great to have 2 top 10 picks to grow together.
