actually thats true taylor was waived before the season started but at the same time he could have gotten it changed before the season or the more likely scenario to tell a rookie that it was his number and deal with it.

Its a slow news day but if a number does have meaning for a player i mean it was Isaiah Taylor who wore it it wasn't like it was Ariza or someone that would have more tenure as a player and done more in the league than Tucker. Tucker probably could have given the guy 500 bucks and said thanks. Thats all I mean I don't see why Tuck just didn't do it last season.

The downside of course (at least for fans) to this is that if people bought a Tucker jersey last season its kind of "outdated" now

    Isn't Tyson Chandler like 50?

Jokes aside, this is one of the best trade proposals except that the Suns have no reason to take back Anderson on a rebuild unless they really see something in Melton over Warren.. I also don't see them giving up Chandler who is making about $14M (WTF???) on an expiring contract.

This is actually a good trade idea cause Phoenix need a pg and Melton on paper fits well with Booker, Warren is ok and on a decent contract but i don't think he has much value for Phoenix, they have other 3/4 on the roster.

I still wouldn't do it if i'm the Rockets though, with PJ and Melo on the roster, Warren isn't exactly needed, same thing for Chandler since we still have Nene and a couple of interesting young players like Zhou and Hartenstein. Moving Anderson would be good obviously, but i'm not sure about losing Melton just to dump Ryan and get two players we don't need...what makes me hesitant more than anything is that Warren can't shoot the 3, 22% last season, after 4 years in the league that's...ugh.

Exactly what I was thinking.. PJ got his shirt tucked in and everything. PJ, at the very least, deserves a screen shot of the shoes he's rockin' in the thumbnail.
