I live in Austin now... but my parents still live in Fondren SW. I always get me some Calliopes when I visit now, the one at W Bellfort near Fondron.

 

To tie P-boys and Po-boys together...... without multiculturalism we'd be eating boring white people food and not good white food people and/or good minority food.

Asian soulfood = Timmy chans

Asian cajun/creole food= Calliopes

 

If they ever put it back on the menu, the fried softshell crab poboy at Dai Due is ****ing killer.
