Personly, I'm sick and tired of Drayton Mclaiming that he has no money.
Show us the damn money, or move out of the way!!
    Go Astros!!

McClane was a godsend when he bought the team from McMullen! HOWEVER, I think the 'Stros will never get "to the promise land" with McClane as the owner. I think this is the most we can expect from McClane and we won't get "over the hump" with him as the owner. We need a new owner who is FULLY committed to getting us to the World Series! Thanks Drayton for saving us from McMullen but it's TIME for you to go too.....:(

No, what we need is a commisioner willing to stand up to the owners and ensure a system of revenue sharing and a salary cap and/or luxury tax to allow owners like McLane to compete on a more level playing field.

I agree with that! But in order to do those things though, I think the owners MUST break the union! There's NO WAY the unions would go for any of those propsals! Something must be done about them. I know the owners created these problems for themselves BUT you can only let the inmates run the asylum for so long, you know?! :(

We also need the owners of teams like the Astros to stand up and vioce support for such a plan - but McClane is one of Selig's bosom buddies, so that won't be happening anytime soon. All you'll hear out of Houston is the party line.
