The very fact that this had to happen because of trump is an affront to American democracy and our elective process...
There was a 1400 roll discrepancy at one point. Texas Republicans were talking about just looking into that issue, but Trump misunderstood and called to recount much more to prove that he should have won Texas by more.
Texas taxpayers will end up paying for this. We can't get relief for the mismanagement of our power grid and the freeze but we can pay for the ridiculous and pointless ego of the losing candidate for President and his Texas enablers...
I don’t mind audit of any results. I think we in fact should have post election audits as a default, to learn from mistakes and improve upon them. It’s should be lead by professional non-gov auditors that are apolitical. Finding should be public and recommendations should be made for more efficient and secure elections.
