I think Hill, Flynn and T-will will definitely breakout. I am hoping that Thabeet will.

By break out season I assume Chris Palmer was talking about Hasheem finally getting acne.

Don't understand the Morey hate. The Rockets are pretty damn young. Is it his fault that the players he scouts are actually good and keep the Rockets competitive?

    What hate?

It is his job to bring a championship to Houston, and to make the team better, he has won more than he has lost, and the team has gotten better under him, but he has not delivered what he is tasked with doing yet.

These next 2 to 3 years will tell a lot, he is no longer saddled with huge contracts of injured players.....

Personally, I am looking forward to seeing what he can do.

because you want this to happen, or because you really think it's going to happen?

I have no idea if it will happen, I do WANT it to happen, and the size and athleticism are there.

I think with good coaching and playing time he can be a productive center.....he will make mistakes, but he should improve rather quickly with quality playing time.

I think he is one of the main reasons Adelman is gone, Rick would rather roll with Chuck Hayes to eeek out as many wins as possible while that is not the direction of the team right now, developing players is more important than wins and losses.

A good coach/trainer will only take you so far, the rest is all yourself.

You can teach skills but you can't can't teach BBall IQ.

You can teach some BBall IQ, but what you can not teach is competitive fire.

Thabeet played well in College, sometimes it is just a matter of opportunity and the proper motivation from a coaching standpoint.

Everyone has different buttons to be pushed.

Ah, imagine how great it'd be if we actually have a season. Yes ... that's a nice thing to think about.

Ball IQ???... All we're asking him to do is stand underneath and be a presence in the middle...We dont expect him to switch pick n rolls and be effective ... A man with his stature pretty much has it easy... We wont run the offense through him , EVER..so that frees up some brain cells... He probably gonna be in constant foul trouble , so he should be fresh by the last quarter of the season... Again all "I" want him to do is block/alter some shots and knock a couple mfer's out comin down the lane.... I hear he's insanely intelligent ..Then he should be smart enough to "dumb down" whatever he considers his potential to be, and become valuable to his team.... Damn the IQ stuff!!!...

Agreed. I try to keep a positive mindset and look forward. However it still haunts me what could have been. There were folks who saw that the big two were not going to get it done back when they had some trade value. It would have taken huevos muy grande, I know.

Speaking of looking forward. I'm looking forward to some Rockets Talk.
