The west is ridiculously stacked this year with competitive teams. Do you guys realize there are FIVE teams that made the playoffs last year that are not currently in the top 8? There are no nights off. I don’t think it has ever been THIS competitive.

Don't cheat yourself. The new additions have negative trade value and nobody wants them.

Three teams I'd fear, fear and fear.

    Spurs, Thunder and Pelicans.

Spurs have a much better coach.

Thunder could be more healthy in the playoffs.

    Pelicans are good at playoffs.

No it wasn’t quite like this. Think about it. Look the teams that didn’t make it last year currently playing well and tell me you think they will fall off. Denver is clearly legit. Lakers added Lebron. The clippers were also good last year just could never get healthy. That Shai kid they added is a beast on defense already and trez just keeps getting better. Grizzlies were not healthy last year and added a great rookie. The Kings may not be able to sustain this, for a full season, but with their athleticism and ability to hit outside shots they will still be a team you can’t take lightly. Popovich commented there has been a legit culture change in SAC. The west has never been this deep. The warriors will probably run away with the 1 seed but everyone else will beat up on each other. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

Their pretty legit this year as just a pretty deep team.

    With that’s said

I don’t trust Russ at all in the playoffs.

He’s been the same guy his whom career come that time of year.

He’ll win you a game by himself but he’ll shoot you out of the series.

PG13 is good but he’s not good enough like KD was with them. Not to mention the nba as whole is just better than when KD and Russ were running the west back then.

Rockets will add at least one good rotational player before the deadline.

The team is getting their groove back. Nobody stopped that team last year when they were healthy -- including the Warriors.

I think it is a great idea to trade 4 Firsts.

it seems that 3 picks are not attractive and it has to offer 4 first picks.

Teams would ask for at least 2 Firsts to take Knight contract.

I don't fear anyone, Warriors have issues also. We have issues against some teams but we are purposely built to beat the Warriors. They don't want to see us come playoffs.

I’m very curious about who we can/will add. The emergence of Gary Clark and return of the defense puts us back on track. If we can fill in around the edges...
