He needs to dedicate himself to getting some rebounds as well. Thank goodness Cato is starting to rebound well.
Jermain never got any playing time in Portland. The second he starting playing starters minutes he started producing. Jermain has avg'd double diget scoring and rebounds and also avg'd over 2 blocks a game since he has been with Indy and this is his third year. I'm not saying Eddie will never achive that. But I can not find any improvement in his game from last year.
You guys are freaking out. He is 20... He is above average in defense, and below average on offense. But he has even been playing worse then below average on offense lately. Dont worry guys he will do better.

EDIT: I decided to read a little further and got no further than your dis on Cato's offense. Once again, you obviously know little about this team. Even last year Cato was one of the best in the league in baskets made per shots taken per 48 minutes. I believe he also had the highest FG% on the team.
Whoop de damn do! Maybe if you had read the stats you would have seen that he only had 5 rebounds and 7 points in over 30 minutes of action. If you could read stats you would also see that he shot less than 30 percent. Maybe you should try reading the stats.
Of course cato's percentage was one of the best in the league. He seldom tried a shot beyond 5 feet. Most of his points came on dunks. If you are going to start trying to convince people that cato is an offensive weopon then you will loose that argument. Of course Cato is better than Eddie is now.
Unless defensive rebounding is no longer part of a power forwards job then he is not an avg defender. He is a very good shot blocker but other than that he has nothing. And although he blocks more shots than KT he is not even close to the defender that KT is.
Who cares how old he is....he is a man...he is in the NBA...he is getting paid to play...and right now...he is not playing very well. Magic Johson was 20 when he won the Finals MVP award...ISaiah Thomas was 20 and averaging 10 assists and 20 points a game. What the heck does 20 years of age have to do with anything? uh, yeah, lets put Jefferson at the 4. Griffin can play defensively at the 4 and he can play some minutes at the 5. We need that more.
dadakota you are one of the most positive people on this site. Ive seen you say if Rudy doesnt do this he will need to go. Griffin was a bad trade for those other 3 picks. Francis needs to go because he doesnt pass at all never... Have there been more that i have missed. Im sure you have said bad things about Mobley, probably Cato to. Maybe even some negativity towards the trainer Keith Jones. Man the way you talk im worried that if the Rockets can win 20 games this year.
When Mo gets back he will resume his starting spot at the 4 unless Eddie does a 180 degree turn in his game.
