Delfino's shot is a work of art. When open, he hits better and at a higher clip than anybody in recent rockets memory (maybe Novak). It's just he has a habit of gunning from the Milwaukee days because they were so bad they needed him to. Perfect compliment to Harden, something he never had in Milwaukee.
Not last season. I'm thinking about the co-captains named for the team during training camp this season. I know Kevin Martin was one, before he was traded. And I think the other was either Patterson or Parsons. There was really no one else left over from last year's starting line-up to show the rookies and new-comers the ropes of the organization and way around the city.
this is where McHale helps. I can see him saying: "Young guys, losing streaks happen in the NBA. Don't get all hysterical like the fans you see on sites like ClutchCity.
More like he walks into the room and says, "Sorry, guys, it was all my fault. When we went back to team ball after the San Antonio game and Harden's efficiency went back up, I thought it was a good idea to try Harden ball again. I. Was. Wrong. My bad. You may go back to team ball and blowing good teams out by 20+ again and cut the bickering and finger pointing. It wasn't Harden's fault. It . Was. My. Fault. Okay, carry on. Enjoy your dinner."
