Groundhog day again, we all know Chase was a great fit in Adelman's system, so much that Adelman told Morey not include him in any trades last year. He continues to let his man torch him in certain stretches that cost the team games. From Durant to Turkeyglue, he has no business starting on any team in the league. Kmart will be fine, but I am a little disappointed that McHale isn't incorporating as much as the offense from last year as he said he would when he was initially hired.
I will be SHOCKED if Martin doesn't bounce back from his slump. Good shooters don't lose their touch.
Just one game...everyone take a deep breath and remember that the rockets will win games and they will lose games...doesn't matter what starting line up you put out there...so lets have this conversation again after 15 games when we can see what the season has to offer.
Lowry/Lee/Twill/Hill/Dalembert Bench: Dragic/Morris/Patterson/Scola/Thabeet or Parsons Trade Bud and Martin...they don't fit Mchale's offense
I think the OP is right. I hate watching players that don't give effort on defense, and as others have said Martin and Budinger aren't as good of a fit in this offense. Watching Scola not close out on stretch 4's may be unavoidable since we have to have his offense down low (and at least he plays with heart), but Martin and Budingerr can and should eventually be replaced with T-Will and Lee. Trade Martin to Minnesota for a first round draft pick and trade or bench Budinger. Play through the growing pains and make a good choice with a top 10 pick.
