Our posible Center position, Fabricio Oberto?

    pretty sure he could play the 4, just because he was playing the center position for the spurs...he seems quick and agile enough, and can do the dirty work

    ok, what makes you think that he is not in san antonio's long term plans? word in san antonio is that fab will be coming back along with:

    finley
    horry
    elson

    the only players that may not come back are

    beno (ok, he's definitely gone)
    jackie butler
    james white
    jacque vaughn

    the definite tradebait:

    brent barry

    fab is going nowhere because he plays better alongside duncan than anyone since robinson.

    Did you watch Mutumbo play last year? I don't care how old he is...maybe he's not a starter anymore, but I love the guy. I hope Deke comes back next year as Yao's backup, we'd be lucky to have him. Not to mention, Oberto isn't exactly a young guy himself...

    If we have to acquire a marginal 30+ year old San Antonio big man, I'd rather it be Elson or Horry. At least they have the athleticism to play PF.
