Our offense was not the problem.

Defense wasn't really a problem. The Rockets got called for fouls before they even got a chance to hammer Roy. Deke got a foul for just getting injured. If you are fouling, you are defending.

I didn't watch the game so I can't tell you much about the game. All I saw were boxscore and highlights.

But for me, there is something wrong when you let Roy score 42. It would be ok if we played Suns' or Warrior's type of defense. But hell, we have SHANE BATTIER and RON ARTEST on that team who are argubly the best defensive duo in the NBA.

I am ok with him scoring 30 a game as long as he shoots 35%. But you just can't let a guy shoot WAYYYYY over 50% and score 42 on you. It is unacceptable.

Rox could have won by making a few more FTs and making Roy miss a few shots. Artest is an overrated defender, he let Roy get by him time and again to make a layup, he didn't possess the quickness to stay in front of Roy. And his shooting, he'll shoot you out of a game just as fast as he'll keep you in a game. I said it before, signing the guy to a long term 10M+ year deal would be a mistake, the Rox should look for a younger, more athletic scorer to sign with the money.

i didnt like the fact alridge and roy were going on those immense scoring runs, alridge, okay, its hard for any of our guys to guard a legit 7 footer who can hit fadeaway Js, roy hit a couple with a hand in his face too but what i didnt like was on the many occasions where roy just waltzed into the paint for an easy layup??? we definitely need an shotblocker in there when yaos resting, if yaos the only inside enforcer, hsi gonna get caught up in foul trouble and then let this BS continue.............

.... i dont see how we are going to fix this :(

maybe morey has been saving dorsey as a secret weapon for the playoffs all this time??

Really? It seemed like it was much more than that. If Roy and Aldridge go for 41 and 27 respectively nightly than this could be tougher than we thought.

But i seriously doubt that that happens. Lets take it back to HOUSTON!!!
