Down the road, when it's time to obtain a real stud again....it needs to be a guy that can play both sides of the ball...fit well with Sengun., and the rest of this group.
Of course, we'll likely have a really high draft position again.....
And then there's the matter of what we move Wall's contract for next year (barring a buyout or trade for expirings/smaller deals)...could come via that route.

6’9 forward … Good length with a 7’0.5 wingspan … Good strength and physical profile. Great mobility and very well coordinated … Good athlete, elevates well at the rim with good timing and body control that translates well in games … Can score from anywhere on the floor, inside and out with a sound jump shot and midrange scoring ability … Good footwork and uses eurosteps when appropriate. Good scorer and very efficient. Averaged 21.8 points per game on 51.5% FG% over the Nike EYBL in 2019. Finished 2nd in scoring at the NBPA Top 100 with 17.2 points per game on 65.3% FG% in 2019 … Draws fouls at a high rate and reliable free throw shooter. Shot 7.2 free throws per game on 80.9% FT% over the Nike EYBL in 2019. Shot 87.5% FT% at the NBPA Top 100 in 2019 … Good rebounder. Led the Nike EYBL in rebounding with 11.2 per game in 2019 … Sees over the defense, reads double teams and help defense well. Good passing ability and court vision, especially at his size. Good timing on lead passes and knows where his teammates are at all times, utilizing his options well. Doesn’t over-dribble. Averaged 4.2 assists per game over the Nike EYBL in 2019 … Versatile defender, guarding both perimeter and post at the high school level. Good shot blocker. Averaged 2.1 blocks per game over the Nike EYBL in 2019. Averaged 3 steals per game at the NBPA Top 100 in 2019 … Mature and polished, contributed at the highest levels of high school at a young age … Smart shot selection, doesn’t force his scoring or hunt for shot opportunities. Plays well within himself and has a well-rounded game, contributing in multiple categories … Plays poised, balanced, and always under control … Doesn’t have many glaring weaknesses …

Yes, that's the only reason why I think there might be a chance to get him. Could take a risk on that one.

[IMG] plus a 2nd round pick from us to them. Who knows, maybe they would want some veteran leadership to pair with Suggs, rather than waiting for a player who has had significant injuries...and some 3 and D from House. House knows a thing or two about D in Orlando.

Some long-term targets I would follow:
    • Jerami Grant in FA 2023
    • Brandon Ingram, John Collins, Siakam via trade (Nets picks + Wall expiring) in Feb 2023 trade deadline
    • One of the Hornets big wings that doesn’t make it through their positional logjam (Oubre, PJ, Bridges)
    • Harrison Barnes via trade (1-2 FRPs + EG)
    • Rookie-scale bench forwards with no clear path to starting, eg Okeke, Okpala

Deandre Hunter would fit, maybe Jalen Johnson combined with Collins extension makes him expendable this deadline?

Tate, House + Brooklyn 2022 lotto protected 1st for Hunter

Then maybe try to get a 3-way done. A healthy Jonathan Isaac with our young core would be....nice. He's still only 23.

It will cost picks no matter where you trade them too.

Dude why are you trying to do this again lol

Isaac was displaying DPOY talent, the type that landed him a 4/80 contract AFTER tearing his ACL. Not only was Isaac showing elite defense, he has the ability to put it on the floor and shoot. He’s an elite asset even with his injury because his potential as a difference maker in this game is ridiculously high

... and your talking about Eric Gordon, Danuel and a 2nd for a team that’s in the same exact faze of a rebuild that were in, that’s probably not even a positive value package
