This wasn't the President's budget. It was an interpretation that the Republicans offered.

For that matter if the Republicans thought it was faithful why did they put it up and then vote it down? That is the very definition of "Straw man".

Exactly. The Republicans put forward a budget bill that got zero votes. That was a Republican plan, and not the President's plan. For some reason Republicans called their plan the President's plan, and the Republican plan got zero votes.

That shows you who's really incompetent.
