The Green foul on Harden's eyes again last night was a flagrant 2. That was worse than throwing punches. if NBA did nothing, this team need to make it clearly that it is not tolerated if someone wants to hurt you intentionally. If punches are needed, so be it. You get to stand up if you want to be a champion.
I keep saying the need to put Faried in for the 1st quater. When going for a rebound "mistime" the jump and knee Draymon in the nuts. Especially when Draymon get in a box out position. Jump and raise your knee up....the key is to be looking for the ball while it's in mid- air....right before the ball hits the rim inadvertenly jump
you need to bring attention of public to the misdeeds of dray in order to prevent it and in order for him to get punished by the league if he does it again
Then issue a statement about it. Commiting a dirty play as a response in game doesn’t help the team win, and it certainly doesn’t do you extra favors with the league office. The Rockets played with good physicality and aggressiveness in game 3. Keep that up, or intensify it. But you don’t try to hurt someone to make a “statement”. What the hell is that?
i kinda agree but my suggestion of wearing goggles wouldnt include violence and would make a better effect than solely issuing a statement ..but why not both? issue a statement and wear goggles
If we remember it correctly, it was twice on the eyes in the last two games. Injuries on eyes could be really serious, much worse than punches on the body.
Only way anyone is going to make a statement is if James or Chris tells them before hand they’ll cover the fine.
Can't really practice something like that... Green has probably been practicing committing dirty plays without drawing attention for years. Plus refs are going to call a flagrant foul. Who do you think we are, the warriors?
