That actually sounds like more justice than I was expecting. It sounded like MBS was going to get off scott free, his lackeys would be executed for following his orders, and Kashoggi would get no justice. Now, MBS still gets off scott free, but his lackeys won't be executed for following orders, and the state tacitly admits fault and pays restitution to Kashoggi's family. Not great, but a little better. Trump's still a giant ***** for letting them do it. I heard another story today about an American woman who was injured and her fiance killed when Saudi Arabia mistakenly fired on them with a Blackhawk helicopter. She's hoping the US will not sell Saudi Arabia any more hardware because of the negligent and overbearing way they use it. And I can only shake my head because you know Trump isn't going to let some rando American victim get in the way of his deals.

That's all the damage the Saudis could do? Oddly reassuring that when they decided to go after an enemy, all they could do is slightly impinge on his divorce settlement.
