Sorry for this new thread if it's inappropriate.

Why we consistently let some inconsistent guards get career high games?

Cause our guard are playing about 45 min per game and have to score most of the points. How can they have enough energy for D.

We need to give Hawkins some playn time to give Mobes and Francis more rest.

It has nothing to do with rest.

Even if they played only 35 minutes/game they would still concentrate their energy on offensive.

These guys are the anti-Doug Christie.

Then maybe they should move Steve and Cat to forwards position and move EG and Posey to guards position.

Because our guards are completely and utterly lacking in sound defensive instincts and effort. Of course this does not apply to Hawkins and Posey, but Rudy doesn't like playing those guys too many minutes.

Terry hasn't been inconsistent this year.

Terry was in a zone and he's quicker than both Steve and Cat.

Err, it seems to me that a lot of guards had great game against SF and Cat this season.

Terry kept coming off of screens and the Rockets did a poor job of coming out to defend Terry coming off the screen. Of course, Terry could have been defended better, but Terry was not the reason we lost the game.

We lost to Grizzlies , JWill had a great game.
We lost twice to Clippers, Andre Miller was killing us.
We lost to Warriors, that little guard was everywhere.
We lost to the Hawks, Terry had a career game ...

Our guards have to be ready to play for every game.

If NBA decides to get rid of personal scoring from the stats, we will win it all, because our guards will work very hard to get steals, assists, blocks etc.. Well, it's dream anyway.

Red Chocolate, one of the biggest problems that I see is the non ability of not only the guards but of the other players as well is to make adjustments during the game. Maybe Posey should have been put on Terry for a few minutes since Robinson was not playing last night.
