C'mon, our two superstars are happily married. There is no splitting anytime soon. Beside Yao did play sucks in those two games, so what if it's true that TMac b****ed at him. Yao need to be sharp going into the playoffs and TMac would let him know that!
It will get even lower if a hypocrite like you join the discussion. Is it time for you to stiff up racial tension in this thread again?

That is OK then. After read the article quoted on the first page, I was totally shocked. Did not read the whole board. Anyway, even YAO&MAC already explained himself. It is so careless for him to post before carefully read the original article.
Yep. When he first moved to Houston, he had his BMW in my shop for a while, and I worked on it a couple times. There was a pamphlet/catalog for a jet....probably the one he got. Not to say I was rooting through his car, but it was out in the open.
but tmac dominates w/ passing. he knows if he struggles in one area, he'll dominate another. yao didn't rebound nor play good D in those games. JVG was more frustrated more w/ that than yao missing. yao won't struggle offensively very long. he's just too good.
The point of debate is not the private jet.............. The point of debate is TMAC did not make the trip to Waco for Dr. Patterson on checking his back. He flied striaght to Los Angeles. I don't know about you......but if some baseless report talked about TMAC having his back spasm reincurring, to the Rockets fan base, has it the less, same or more impact when compared to this baseless, mindless garbage of our 2 superstars are at odds/conflicts with each other from qq.com ?
This is such a bad topic Yao and Mac are brokeback together mannng *pardon the pun* They're not going to be Shaq & Kobe, Part II.
from now on, just post things from the houston chronicle. they cover THE ROCKETS. tmac and yao get the attention but they primarily cover the rockets. then we can avoid such homerism as these news articles.
Again, shouldn't they only be called "Shaq and Kobe Part II" when they actually win some playoff games? Until then, that only applies in theory, it's not reality.
Then what will we end up with ?? Very scanty and slow reports ?? IMHO, it is a matter of judgement and choice. Yeah, alot of times, quite alot of bullsh!!!!!!!t from the Chinese websites. But then, why bother? Who is forcing you to believe ? But then again, sometimes, you get the latest and more insider views from Yao Ming, from Tracy, from Battier, and those are never ever available in Houston Chronicles or anywhere else...... Just to give you an example. This is what Shane Battier posted latest on his PEAK blog on sina.com. Do you get this type of stuff on Houston Chronicles ??
Pyruen, I didn't take the Waco comment to imply that he had gone that day, and I also didn't take it to mean that he was going for anything more than a regular check-up as apposed to a problem. Of course, if that's what they meant, then you are right... Starting rumors about new T-Mac back spasms is also very irresponsible. Also, you make a good point about the Chronicle. Life isn't about black or white, right or wrong... It's about the grey area, discretion, and moderation. What we have to understand about the Chinese media sometimes is that we must use discretion with the things we post here. A lot (and I mean A LOT) of it is just senseless, irresponsible journalism, but if we blindly discredit it all, then we loose a very unique and special means of access to our beloved Rockets that NO other team's fans can boast. So let's just all think before we post, basically.
again, like i said in the posts before, im sure some chinese reporters are great journalists and honorable writers. but just most of the stuff that "trigger" this board into mayhem like this are due to these type of chinese articles. again, what i say is that the houston chronical covers THE TEAM. they really don't care to cover an individual on the team. isn't thats what the team is about? but like i said, people who post the chinese articles should read it first and see if it's a good one b4 posting. if it's a good one like that shane battier, then go ahead. but don't post where it's to one side or the other.
Btw, thanks for the PEAK blog. Battier's blogs are always fun to read. Along with V-Span and Rafer, we actually have some pretty entertaining and insightful writers on our team!
YUP.....the MORE I read those Shane Battier blog posts, the MORE I like the guy as a player, and as a person. Very team oriented, tenacious, never-say-die player.....and great personality and a family man !! I was sort of moved, when he wrote that the first feeling that came to his mind when he was bleeding was about his wife and parents, and not about his head injury or himself........and that after 8 ~ 9 stitches to his head, he continued to play and help the Grizzlies to win !! What a character !!!
