What is wrong with this? Nothing. If people, Chinese or not, follow the Rockets only because of Yao, that is their right and privilege. Some of those folks even post facts and tidbits about Yao that contribute to the forum. After a while, some of these YOFs will change into true Rockets fans with Yao being the door that led them to the team.

By itself, there is nothing wrong with being a YOF. The very few militant YOFs that used to try and stifle discussion and criticism about Yao's weaknesses or who used to flame people that didn't comment on Yao exactly the way they liked are the problem. Thankfully these YOFs either stopped posting, left the forum or have gotten over themselves.

I'm a LOF (LeBron only fan) of the Cavs and a GOF (Gilbert only fan) of the Wizards. I couldn't care less about either team if it weren't for those two players. And if they switched teams I would follow them and the Cavs and Wizards would go back down to the very bottom of my NBA radar.

Among Rockets fan, I'd like to think there aren't any more YOHs. Among us, that term is almost irrelevant. I'm sure there are plenty of YOHs that are fans of other teams, just like people here hate LeBron, Gilbert, Wade, Kobe, etc, etc for various reasons.

yes, i saw that too. However, you could get a sense that tmac started to prepare for the playoff. You could see it on his face, he drove more, shot more, and wanted to play mo PT. I think it's a good thing.

those guys are best friends. yao's in a slump, so tmac took over. doesn't mean he's mad at yao. it's the right thing to do.

T-Mac has one game where takes 30 shots and we get this, the utter hell that is known as the MIND of a YOF.

What I don't understand is this. YOF's should be happy, T-MAC reads the board and was trying to help Yao Ming raise his field goal percentages by not giving him an opportunity to miss shots in the fourth.

No, I don't agree with you. In my mind, they like Tmac more than Yao.

I never seen so many idiots reply on a single thread since the inception of this board!

If you know ANYTHING about the Rockets, this is JVG trying to get rid of T-Mac! Don't you see that T-Mac can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants? He can't control him. Like T.O. but in basketball. Yao just does what JVG says like a little biatch just like JVG likes it.

T-Mac will be gone next year. Book it!

It's not news, nor something from a reporter, but rather some random poster on the internet, wrote something in Chinese, purely out of his/her own speculation. What's the big deal? And we spent 6 pages to discuss that?!!

And, if anybody be good at Chinese->English translation find some mistakes, plz correct them, thanks :D
    Here we go,

T-mac be “selfish” again and blame his teammates, flaws may appear between Yao and T-mac for their lack of communication

    2007/Mar/30/02:37am

Rocket had 11 wins in recent 13 games. It seems that it is now in good condition. Yao was elected into the best team last week, and it is the first time he won such award this year. Everything goes well. But when considering some details in recent games: the combination of T-mac and Yao seems losing effective connection; they did not contact with each other, and both of them tend to get more shooting attempts.

    Case1, T-mac blamed others.
Take past two games (lose with Hornets, and win with Bucks) for example. Yao got 44 shooting attempts, but only hit 16 of them with FG Pct under 40%. According to Yao’s giving up being a tough attacker under the board but scrambling for more perimeter shot, T-mac was dissatisfied. He spoke dirty words on court, and directed against Yao after the game, pointed out that Yao got a lack of passion to score in the paint. After the game with Bucks, T-mac left the court himself and flew to L.A. without saying any words to his teammates. Such behavior is really strange.

    Case2, T-mac be a ballhog again.
May be annoyed by the too many shot that big fellow made, T-mac got his right to fire freely again. His 30 attempts are twice than what Yao had made yesterday. Several times, when Yao had got his position under the board, T-mac tried to score by himself forcedly with 2 defensive players. He had no sense of passing. According to the games, what the combination of T-mac and Yao need is the basic awareness of playing together. Except for the play-and-roll that made Battier’s shot to lead Bucks with 3pts in the forth, we were hard to see conversation between those two fellows. In brief, the atmosphere among this team now even not better than the period that Yao was injured and Mutombo was on the court.

Objectively speaking, Yao do attack primarily and T-mac assists, is a basic way for Rocket to obtain wins. But now, obviously, such two sides both get something wrong: Yao do not like to score in the paint intensively, and he is looking for more chance to get perimeter shot instead of T-mac; T-mac is not willing to pass balls. Both two are contending to be the shooter. To Rocket, it is a waste of resource, and would lead to failure. For the next 10 games is the only opportunity for Rocket to exceed Jazz and get the home court advantage, hope that Rocket will not destroy its own future with internal contradictions.

obviously by his use of words, he doesn't even know about the game of basketball. chinese people should not cover the game unless they understand the game. i know that would piss yao off too w/ some idiotic stupidity like that.

what the hell is "internal connection". get outta here. just stick to reporting the facts and no more opinions.

My personal opinion, this reporter is just want to make some noise...

I and majority in China read this report do not believe at all.
Something important is that this website, I means sports.qq.com, not a hot one before, I think they just want to attract eyes. For the relationship between Yao & Mac really one issue sensitive for Chinese.
