This thought makes no sense at all. 2 systems, 2 coaches, couple dozen players in less than 3 years....hmmmm....doesn't all that change need time getting used to? How are you supposed to learn a coaches style and "system" in 1 year, especially with new players constantly coming in and out around you. There's no time to build any team chemistry.

For all those other haters...25 points is 25 points....and how does Tim Duncan create his own shot?....He has other players that can spread the floor....Parker, Bowen, Nesterovic and they don't drop him on the block and make him try to post up every time. They let him do what YAO did in the second half...mix it up..flash, face up and post.

Every season he improves statistically, yet, I always see him being bashed. He's not even playing a style of play that suits him, yet his numbers are better. When he first came into the league atleast he showed some progress physically which we all believed was what he needed to do. I feel that he is physically ready now, we still don't have the players that totally suit him; I mean some of the players that we have now are 3rd string material, yet he's getting bashed. It's not all his fault, he's not perfect, but who is? Some people here are always saying, "why should we feed him if he's not shooting well". As you saw last night if you keep going to him and get creative with positioning, he can heat up. It'll be a real shame if he winds up leaving this franchise, I'd much rather keep him than Van Gundy if it came to that.

I'm sick of people jumping on Yao whenever we lose.

It's never any individual's fault. We lose and win as a team.

IMHO, we don't have a good team right now. I hate to admit it, but the lakers are a better team than Rox right now.

People always forget even if Yao drop 50 points on the lakers, we may still lose because it takes a whole team to win.

They have gone to the extreme with Yao. JVG wanted Yao to get deep post position and dunk more and Yao has done that this season and his point blank shots are way up this year. I agree with you that it seems to have made other facets of his game worse. I was complaining in the first few games this year that Yao was only using that face up game and he needed to develop a power move/game. Now it seems he must be practicing the power game all the time because his outside shot and free throwns seem to have worsened this year. I would like Yao to have both an outside/inside game, he needs both to get to super star status in this league. He will definitely lack quickness/speed/athleticism his whole career and to make up for the lack of these he needs to develop both a power and finesse game.

I went to the LA game and thought that it was Yao who really helped the ROX get back into the game.

He scored 25 pts in 31 minutes.

I know I'm biased, but it seemed to me the that the refs could have called a foul on Brian Grant on every possession. If Yao (or Shaq) used their elbows like he did, they'd definitely foul out really quickly.

I am confident that Yao's mid-range game and touch will come back. I am not so certain about his rebounding though. He does "defer" a couple of rebounds a game to teammates but also loses a few a game that he should easily grab.

TMAC and Yao are fine. The rest of the team is just a bunch of scrubs.

Yao to Chicago for Hinrich and a big man? I don't think CD and Les are that stupid.

How about Yao for Chris Mihm? or Erick Dampier, Jamal Magloire, or Rasho?

I'm sure the other teams would acquiese.

How many times have you seen him lose the ball with his butter fingers and cause a turnover, and the other team score on the other end?

While I do not have pictures I was eating at a resteraunt last week and saw two players from an opposing team sitting down and eating and talking about how Yao cannot control the ball.

    Cheesecake factory
    Amare and Marion.

If we could turn back the clock and do the trade all over again I would take Amare in a heartbeat!

That's your fault, if you saw yao have butter fingers, you should go on the court to suck them up.

    Give me a break!

This is not a bad game at all for Yao. He got 25pts on 8/15 shooting, went to the line 11 times.

If you want to blame someone for the loss, blame T-Mac. He didn't go to the line once, didn't draw a single foul from the lakers big men.

Wesley and Barry were not doing any better. 1/7 shooting is just pathetic.

He might try save some money for himself, $1000 per point, that's way too much for him.

100% right. Yao is often confused on the court for what he should
do or what he should not do. Last two years, he is much more better than that.

I don't understand why people are bashing Yao. His stats are continuing to improve and he being more agressive. I am pretty sure any NBA team both East and West would love to have him. He is continuing to learn, but nonetheless causes many defensive problems for other teams. Maybe Yao could be used better in the scheme of things, but that is hardly Yao's fault. I know the true Rocket fans are very happy we have Yao in our team.
