hell ya, if tmac wasn't still recovering he would have scored even more, hasn't he increased his points each game so far, obviously it cannot continue...unless he goes on an unpredictable mad scoring tare and averages 89 pts a game this season...the nba nothing is impossible..crap that's nike, but w/e

I think no matter how good Tracy is or Ron is, Yao hurt or not will always be our best player on the team. He played like trash against the celtics but manage to protect himself from injury when Tracy get hurt. So to those who like to bash on Yao so much, just remember that he is still the Rockets most healthy player. The last four games, he was the main attraction not like Ron Artest or Tracy is and he managed to put up great numbers.

people always coming up with weird reasons to bash others from making new threads...do you lose money everytime a new thread is created? does it give you stomach ulsors? is there some ailment that is caused by the creation of a new thread? for god's sake why must everyone complain when someone brings a new thread to bring about a point that they find to be important and deserving of a new thread!

TMAC has the most natural talent of anyone on this team. However it is a team and it does not really matter who is the best player.

TMAC has proven he cannot win on his own. TMAC and Yao have proven they cannot win with just each other.

he is our best scorer but not our best player. Remember when Tmac scored like 7pts last year against the Celtics when they broke our 22 gamewinning streak? Yao is our best player without a doubt. Now imagine the team without Yao then do the say with Tmac. It's clear that he is our best player.

You do realize our record without Yao the last couple years has been far better than our record without T-Mac, right? Our offensive rating as a team actually was higher last year after Yao's injury then it was before he got injured.

    I don't get your point.

What's our point then?... I remember when Tmac was injuried early last year or the year before that if i'm wrong (memory isn't the best  ), and it seem like we had better team play and we went on a a run without him. Everyone was saying then, "Now how do we incorparate Tmac in on the team when he comes back?" Our team offence seemed like it had better ball movement with Tmac out and LUTHER HEAD starting in his place! I don't care what the record was without Yao. He's the ONLY 7ftr on the team now and if I had to choose to keep one over the other, it's no doubt in my mind I'm choosing Yao.

Yao Ming is the best player on the Rockets. I don't care what anyone else says here.

Two years ago, you might argue for T-Mac. But not now. T-Mac is old, and fading fast.

Ron Artest didn't come here to play with T-Mac. He came to play with Yao Ming. Remember that.

Rafer Alston is our best player.

Don't worry about all the long-range bricks.

Don't worry about all the missed floaters.

Don't worry about the awkward shooting form.

Don't worry about the total lack of penetration.

Don't worry about the less than 2 FTAs per game.

He's a great floor general! He is awesome at dribbling past halfcourt and handing the ball of to Tracy or Ron. He even does an And1 move every few weeks. His skill set is irreplacable.

I watched Tmac's 13 points in 35 seconds again last night!
    its wonderful!

Without Yao, the team is OK, but will be defeated by teams with big center.
but without Tmac, the team is nothing.

I am a Chinese, but I think Tmac is the biggest star in the team,

but he need to be more aggressive,

since he is not healthy yet,

If he play too hard, he will injure and have bad performance in next game.

    Painful, but it's true

basically, almost every team has a big center so that would mean that we would be defeated by every team then.

"If he play too hard, he will injure and have bad performance in next game."?

LOL, why don't you just say "If he plays good, that means he is healthy. If he had bad performance, that's because he has injuries." Can you tell us when he will be totally healthy?

They were TRIPLE TEAMING him!!! And his shoulder was still bothering him if i remember correctly. And he still managed to get his share of assists. So he wasn't completely shut down.

He carried us for stretches in the Dallas game, and even when not 100% percent, he always finds way to contribute. I couldn't say the same about Yao. And Artest doesn't seem to have the same kind of talent. All in all the point is that if you take Tmac away from this team, it stops being special and that's why I think he's the best(and most complete) player on this team also.

I don't think it is a good thread. I mean, everybody has his or her own opinion and you can't dissagree. Threads like that always make people argue
