Got to be proud of our bench ... considering that some of our current starters would normally be our bench too.

    We go deep.

Indeed, he keeps our bench potent and versatile. Also, Lowry is a better defender than Brooks, and that's one thing our bench lacks compared to the starters. His hustle and pressure can set the tone for an opponent's offensive possession, so he can have a lot of impact defensively and compensate somewhat for this deficiency in the lineup.

To me, Lowry is a huge team motivator as well, because he never lets himself get down - he just keeps on fighting. He's easily my favorite Rocket right now, despite some off nights.

Love the bench. This scrappy bunch is a joy to watch. Give Budinger some time to get comfortable and I believe he will thrive.

What a great bench. I'm loving Carl's game. The combos that he can put out there is a very good luxury to have. I get excited the times when Lowry and Brooks are on the court at the same time. They are like our version of Smash and Dash-except we have a much better Smash. I'm still giddy that we got Chase where we got em, #44 I think. He looks great and the game looks easy to him. As for Andersen will get better. He is better than I thought on the O end and worse than I thought on the D end. Picks up waaaaay too many fouls and is a pushover on the low block against anyone with below-average power. But give him time. He is learning the way the NBA game is played and called and will go through NBA rookie pains. Our bench has so far exceeded my expectations and is a great asset to have.

That's funny.... our entire team is composed of the "first guy off the bench" kind of guys ... no amazing firepower in the starting lineup but the consistency from 1-9 is pretty high.

You mis-undersood. We are talking about David Anderson not Shandon Anderson. David has been good off of the bench hitting outside shots, stretching the defense and opening up paint for guys like Kyle, Aaron, Chase to get to the basket. He gets rookie calls from the officials but he has been a good scorer and a good rotation player.

Bench have been great. It's a credit to the coaching staff, gm and the kind of players we have that our team is very competitive, plays the right way and wins ball games.
