God how I wish Lowry could shoot. He's a much better all around point guard than Brooks were it not for that one glaring weakness.

I bet after Derek fisher is done, the lakers would love to have a guy like Lowry to replace him. Tough on defense and you have so many other scorers that Lowry doesn't even have to shoot the ball. It's supposedly what the Lakers are looking for anyway. They can't afford to replace fisher with an elite point guard.

No you don't. Thats obvious by your posts. Every time you say something like Landry would not average 10 points a game on another team proves you don't watch much basketball.

That's OK pumpkin I think you are funny.

Does anyone else agree that if we reversed the OP's question, "which of our starters would be bench players on other teams"...the answer would be Battier, Chuck, Trevor?

Arguably the most important thing a basketball player can do is be an effective shooter.

Putting the biscuit in the basket is crucial to winning.

The Wizard of OZ staring the ROCKETS

Tmac as the lost little girl

AB as the Scarecrow, searching for a brain
Ariza as the Tin-crow hybrid , searching for a brain and a heart

Hmm can't do anyone for the lion since Tmac is already playing the lost little girl...

I love Landry and Lowry, but Landry has a legitimate case to start on several teams while Lowry does not. Either way, I like both of them coming off the bench. They give us a much-needed boost of energy.

Here is the crazy alter-scenario. The Rockets don't have a single player that would start on the Celtics. Unless Tom T called the shots in which case Hayes would start.

I heard Bynum's stats and shots plummeted after Gasol came back from injury...

But ofcourse! Landry is better than both Bynum and Gasol!

That's why they are all role players. Complete ones are sitting on the bench with 40 million.

I think we have a few more that are close.

    Brooks
    Scola
    Landry
    Budinger

All have the ability to be complete players.

Man i don't want to post the same thing twice, but you are really simple.

The ROCKETS, the team we support, PLAYS HARD AND PLAY AS A TEAM, easy so far? They will make the playoffs but get knocked out in the 1st round, because in the playoffs, EVERYONE plays HARD.

Talent does not equal effort, and you need both to win games.

God feels like i am talking to a pre schooler..

Only Budinger might develop into one. He has skills , basketball IQ, athleticism and size.

Just in case you missed it in the other thread that you are posting your non-sense in:

Effort minus talent = Ryan Bowen not Carl Landry

What if he we get an equally non-talented team as our first-round opponent. We still getting bounced out the first round? Given that the winner will be solely decided on effort.
