Correct, this is a big man league. That’s why when you’re clueless about basketball you draft big and pray the odds work out in your favour.
Height is important in the NBA, but that in itself is not an insight.

Are we back in the 90s now?

This is a ball handling guard dominant heliocentric league. All the good teams are good because of their primary ball handler. The exception is probably Sixers and Nuggets.

The problem with building around bigmen today is that they can often disappear because modern guards just don't drop the ball to bigmen in the post as much as before. They just don't control the amount of touches they get as much as guards and wings. The touches they do get are highly dependent on other players.

Nope still hasn't surpassed Donte (career high 31pts) or Litterial Green (career high 9 assists) yet.

Seeing the chicken little mentality is pretty funny… when I was a young lad, I too succumb to such haste reactions.

But, the law of equivalent exchange is, you get out what you put in.

Will Green put in the grueling effort to improve the defensive side of the ball? Because that is what tires out even the most efficient scorers, but it is also what makes MVP’s of the most talented amongst the gifted players.

I have no doubt Green will average 20 plus points for most of his career; he pretty explosive of a player. Can he be a good defender, a decent stopper? To me, there lies the question!

it is an insight to some...
i've been hearing about how bigs are unplayable for a few years now...
as a matter of fact, there was a team a couple years back that was playing like all 6'7 and shorter players for entire games - on an ongoing basis! It was a joke and they got exposed in the playoffs... but still... can you imagine? lol

yeah, I’ve heard about that team and the shamanism of its guru GM…
Strangely, the current GM of the 76ers has a similar-sounding name and just extended its 7-2ft Center and signed Andre Drummond, who single-handedly won the last game for them…
