Just for the record, Angel's Trumpet is a member of the family Solanacae known as Brumagnisia Datura. The active compound in the plant is scopolomine which is an anticholinergic compound that is supposedly anything but pleasant. Other plants in the family which have the same active substance are deadly nightshade, and henbane. I would seriously doubt the guy had ever taken the substance before. He probably read in a book somewhere where it said 'halucinogenic' and didn't understand that it was not LSD. In any case, I seriously doubt that this is any sort of "craze" sweeping Germany. Something tells me this is a little bit like the "Several students tripping on LSD stared at the sun until blinded" story on Snopes.

i saw this in the eddie smoking pot thread and ill repeat... andreas from halle is a moron. it doesnt matter how high you are, if you cut off your ding-a-ling than you are a moron and its better that you dont have that thing so that you may not spread your moronic seed. darwinism at work. ive done lots of hallucinogenic drugs in my day and i still have my tounge and penis.
I would want a real link and some evidence before even considering this to be true. Even then, I am for strong regulation of all chemicals, ESPECIALLY the dangerous ones under certain parameters.
