[OUCH] Jim Rome on the Rockets

I'm waiting for the next PTI to tear us apart.

 

I thought it was dumb when he made such a big deal about the point guard situation. This team's problems run a lot deeper than that. The talent on the Rockets is WAY better than a 6-10 record. Kenny Smith and Ron Harper were championship point guards, for crying out loud.

 

If we could get a Kenny Smith on this squad, I'd be happy.

Kenny Smith was a top 10 draft pick. He's a winner. NCAA, NBA, TNT.

Well if it makes anyone here feel any better there was a great deal of amusement and snickering up here (in Dallas) about the Rockets' plight that came to an abrupt end yesterday after the Mavericks were positively cremated by the Spurs. Just goes to show that people that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...

 

so how many different ways did rome talk about us? usually he says the same line 18 different ways...so annoying

I always thought only people younger than 18 listen to that guy. All style -- try to be cool, no substance -- repeat the same lines dozen times.
