Don't know why this guys gets a post from you guys week in and week out. We played well as a team tonight. If TMAC puts up 26/8/8 and STILL doesn't get any love from the city or the media, then the guy really can't do much. He kept us in this ball game just as much as Landry did. As did BJax. As I said, it was an awesome TEAM effort tonight. Stop letting this guy take our victory away. We got the win. No one person was more responsible for it than any other.
I've never taken the advice from someone on sports whom doesn't possess an athletic bone in their body....Fran looks like the kid that you would pick on all the time just for the heck of it!
I think togehter, Tmac and Landry are potent offensive weapon. Landry is athletic and can make teams pay for doubling McGrady when he sets the screen and rolls to the the bucket. Scola and Hayes struggles when they receive the ball at the free throw line or top of the key.
Sorry ... I agree he used some misdirection in his piece, but I don't think it was to slam TMac, but to marvel at how valuable Landry is to our team. ... and he is the difference. But, without TMac, we'd lose, no matter how good Landry is doing.
agreed... the talk of what a star is supposed to do is just to make the piece interesting, he knows must would be waiting to see something about tmac. Tmac had 26-8-8, obviously great numbers but Landry was just what the Rockets have been missing. A finisher.
Tmac needs some great players around him to play great. Rafer has sucked the last 3 games, which conincided with 2 L's. When we have great PF or PG play, we win. Check the evidence Rafer, Jackson, Scola, and Landry. They are the key to our season.
Two thoughts: 1. You don't realize how relatively good McGrady still is, despite his weaknesses. 2. You must be forgetting that we basically only gave up Steve Franics to get him. You have to start somewhere. McGrady was a huge upgrade over Francis/Mobley.
Blinebury is one of those people who wait for someone to struggle so they can take shots at them. That's why he has no credibility in my eyes. I don't even read his articles, and I didn't even go to that link.
That's just little too much love that actually makes him sound biased. This is a team effort. He didnt create his own shots. He needs his teammates as much as they need him.
It's called a pick and roll........it's takes both parties to successfully execute it! If it is done right it's very hard to stop. Stop tryin to take away from what landry does for this team!
Tracy didn't play pick'n'rolls often. He got the ball on the high post and drove to the basket. The switched with help so he passed to open landry for open dunks.
Bingo! Not only that, he's a tired and lazy writer with axes to grind. Poor Fran. I would be humiliated too after getting bumped from the top dog spot by Dick Justice and Lopez. T-Mac pulls off a near triple double and gets mentioned in Frans PBP blog ONCE the entire night. In fact, the 1 time he mentions McGrady, its just a cheap shot. As RocksMillenium said, Fran has ZERO credibility. He has become a joke of writer, which is why he is reduced to doing play by play blogs.
Bran is being an idiot, TMAC is the one drawing the attention. Without Mac's shot and dishes Rox lose,Bran is a hater.
