I like the idea of trading Howard for Hudson if the Rockets are looking to trade Howard. But, as someone mentioned, unfortunately Hudson isn't JVG's type of PG most likely. Chicago has some goodies though. We could keep Howard or get some good stuff from Chicago potentially. Works out well both ways! To bad Antonio Davis makes so much money, he's old but he would work well at the PF spot for a few years and could spell Yao and the center spot.

," said Mark Cuban, owner of a team that has never made it to the NBA Finals and which was summarily dismissed from the first round this season.

Perhaps, but look at McGrady! Does he fit the shell of a JVG type? I think CD & Les are in the drivers seat.

But even if T-MAC aint the JVG mold, can you ver passup a chance of getting a player of this caliber!. Getting a player of T-mac's talent dosent happen everyday!

We could use him anyways. He lives on mid-range shooting. I like the fact that opponents have to play honest with Yao if he is on. His defense was never good, I will just have to live with that. I think JVG is better at knowing what to do with defense than offense. So I am not too worried in that department.

of course not! Thats why I stated CD & Les are in the drivers seat.

I am sure JVG knows this is a chance of a lifetime, and it will be interesting to see what McGrady thinks about JVG's defense first approach.

The only person on the Bulls I'd like to see come back from a Howard trade would be Hinrich + ?. Otherwise, I'd keep Howard. His offense will keep people from collapsing on Ming. He's a much better player than MoT and next to Ming, he'll see plenty of open shots. I'd like to see MoT traded for anyone but I don't see that happening unless we package a pick or 2 for some C class player with a questionable contract.

After we get Howard, how long do we have to move him, before the 60 day rule kicks in? 48 hours?

p.s. Les has the money, even if we can't move him.

Great question. After the trade, what are the limitations (if any) on being able to move Howard if we want to?

We need to someone agressive to balance Yao on the Boards. Preferably a leaper too. But Howard is good enough to secure the more difficult rebounds.
