Howard is easier to trade than MT, so goodbye Howard.

compared to Mo T and Cato - Howard is a steal with his bad contract. He scores more than Cato (and can score 20+ every now and then) and he rebounds much better than Taylor... and he makes less money than either

he plays defense fine (or will play fine in the JVG system) - he has just never played on a team that was any good where he had to play defense

I tend to agree. I also tend to believe he will be much more 'movable' than Mo. Particularly if CWebb and Jalen stay in place Howard would be a good fit with either of his buddies.

I'm happy with keeping Juwan, moving Mo. Juwan can pass the ball. JUwan will know to feed that big Chinese fella, and hit jumpers off him. Juwan will know to set picks for Tracy, and work the rolls off of him.

Mo T only knows how to dance and lift the baby hook. Ugh. He takes on two guys with Yao standing there. He'll screw up a simple two man game with Tmac. Ship him out of here. Keep Howard.

don't forget... Howard will also get more rebounds than Mo (6'9" but can't get more than 3 rebounds) Taylor

Howard is aging, but is still able to do some work down in the paint. 17ppg 7rpg- that is a definite upgrade from Cato. We lose the defense, but not much of the rebounding.

I doubt we will be able to find a deal to trade MoT or Howard this summer, but I think the 2 would be able to hold off the PF rotation.

Minnesota has been trying to get Howard for about a year now. They tried to get him last offseason then they tried like crazy to get him at the trade deadline. If the Rockets don't want him just go talk to Minnesota and see if they still want him.

My thoughts exactly, Howard is a smart player who, I believe, has never been in the right mix. I expect Rocket's fans to be pleasantly surprised. I see him fitting very well with Ming by hitting him with well-timed passes or freeing him up with short jumpers.

Well, the T-Wolves have been trying to get him for awhile, so it's good to see they still want him. That means we have some options :)

Oh man...the Rockets need plenty of offense. So what if we give up 5 more points a game next year...if our offense increases 10...we win.

If Troy Hudson is a restricted free agent (???), then how about a S&T for him with Howard.

The Wolves are after Howard. They would love to trade Kandi for him. 2 seasons ago I would have done it in a heartbeat. Kandi as a backup center would have sounded great. But after seeing him play recently I want NOTHING to do with Kandi. Total waste!

As for the bulls. I would entertain the idea of Howard for JYD Jerome Williams. Williams is EXACTLY the type of firecracker, hustler kind of player we need coming off the bench in Houston. His offense is limited but he plays good defense, hustles all the time and is a solid rebounder. Antonio Davis might be another good option as well as he can play some backup Center. But his contract is huge. But the Bulls are trying to move BOTH of those guys.

I'd really like to see the Rox give Howard a chance, before trading him. There really aren't any players on the Wolves or Bulls that interest me.

    Certainly not Kandi.

Personaly out f the Bulls, i love to get Chandler, but i gotta be realistic so...:D . as i said in another thread, JYD is exactly what the doctor orderd. he'll bring alot of defensive intensity and energy off the bench, also he can have nights where he'll get 15 to 20 boards a game! i really like this guy!
