Rumor is just a rumor. Let's see what the ME comes back with after the report is completed before throwing s*** out there. (I'm not blaming you...just making a point) I'm no fan of OU but this is sad news. He was just a kid.

Cobble (identified on the police report as John Cobble III), the young man who found Oklahoma linebacker Austin Box unresponsive and not breathing in an El Reno home this morning. Box never recovered and was declared dead today. Here's the full audio of the call: During the call, Cobble tells the emergency dispatcher almost immediately that Box "takes pain pills," and he tries to perform CPR on the young man with the dispatcher's assistance. He also tells her that he's "a little freaked out," but he still manages to perform compressions. There's no hysterics or loss of composure from anybody involved, but it's still incredibly dramatic and heart-wrenching to hear, especially knowing how this all ends.
Who the hell wants to listen to that? I just don't have that kind of morbid curiosity. Best wishes to his family in their time of need.
Austin had back surgey in the past and was taking the meds for it. Honestly, i think he might have got addicted to them, like many do. And a couple drinks of alcohol can end it quick.
Rough week for OU and Brent Venables. Word out that his(Venables) brother has passed away at the age of 43. RIP to both of these fellas and t&p with Venables during these tough times.
