I agree. And I'm a Gator fan too. How about we get an idea of how teams perform week in and week out instead of making picks for the BCS Championship game in week 2?
It amazes me that OU fans can keep saying that they just overlooked CU. Uh, guys, CU DOMINATED that game. If not for two INT's (on tipped balls), OU would have only scored 10 points (both of those drives off of the INT's were less than 20 yards). Now if these two teams somehow play again in the Big XII Championship game (not happening, but if it was), OU would kill us. However, for anyone to say that CU wasn't the better team yesterday is just foolish.
I'm not sure you can say CU dominated a game where they were down 24-7 at one point in the 2nd half. INTs are part of the game - you can't just say "if not for the INTs". That's like saying, if not for the offense, the Chicago Bears are the best team ever.
Fair point, and I should have chosen my words better. My point with the INT's were that it wasn't like OU drove the ball 80 yards making a fool of CU on each of their scoring possessions. They had two drives in which they went the length of the field. That's it. CU outgained OU, they dominated time of possession, and (IMO) they looked like the better team out there. I didn't look to me that OU overlooked us, it looked to me that they got out-played and coached. When it comes to the North, CU has a great schedule. We're at KSU (which will be a loss), but we get Mizzou and Nebraska at home. I don't think we'll win the North this year, but I think it's ours next year and after that.... who knows? All I know is that right now, we're starting freshmen at both WR positions, LG and QB with sophomores at RG, TE and MLB. This is a young team that's only going to get better.
You bastards better, because the only thing I have left to look forward to this season is beating the living sh*t out of you in the Big XII Championship game. F**k CU!
