The Fantastic Four are boring. Back in the day, their comic books were boring too. IMO, their main claim to fame was being the first of the new superhero startups for Marvel in the early 60s.

Dr. Strange sounds interesting. He was one of my favorites but I have doubts about a movie.

For Ant Man to work, it would take some kind of unique angle to make a good movie. They should probably take a pass.

Never liked Fantastic Four (although Human Torch is one of my favorite characters...cus he's Human Torch). I've always thought Ant Man / Giant Man was a stupid character to begin with, I'm not sure why they're pushing so hard to make a solo movie for him. Especially when they have actual characters people want to see in a solo movie still (DEAD...POOL...). Dr. Strange is another whatever for me, although I could see a movie of him being a lot more interesting than Ant Man...

Agree with F4 just flat out not being interesting or popular, but I do like Dr. Doom.

I really enjoyed the cosmic side of the FF, and how they were off in space or other dimensions a lot. I hope Marvel gets their rights back. It would be cool to see a big Avengers/FF movie.

Wolverine + Silver Samurai? That's gonna blow. I have not seen any American produced movie that uses Japanese actors work without heavily featuring Japanese culture (Kill Bill, The Last Samurai).

A Wolverine movie would have a ton of Japanese culture in it.
A movie off the top of my head that had a Japanese actor that didn't include Japanese culture and still worked would be Inception.

Dr. Doom is an awesome villain and would be a worthy opponent for the Avengers in a future movie. He would completely overshadow the FF4.

Combining the FF4 with the Avengers in a movie seems like it might be too much.

The first episode of season 2 of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes (cartoon, an awesome one at that), features this exact team up. Avengers / FF vs Dr. Doom.

Doom stomps all of them, then kicks them out of his base lol

Agreed that FF works better in the animation medium. I do have a soft spot for them. Thing is just awesome. I wish we could see a great big screen translation of Hulk vs Thing - that was always an epic rivalry in my mind.

It really is too bad Marvel hashed out the rights so many different ways. The crossover films would have opened so many more doors than standalone films.

Spiderman - Daredevil - Punisher (vs Kingpin)
Doom (attached to FF rights) vs anyone
    Wolverine - Hulk
    etc

Ant Man has potential - they're looking to do it as a comedy, and I'd trust Edgar Wright with that as much as I trusted Whedon with Avengers. Especially if Simon Pegg is attached.

You say this in basically any thread mentioning the movies now. We get it; you didn't like them. Can you come up with anything else now?

Yeah random dude on the internet totally hurt my feelings. My point is you can come up with something more constructive. When the individual threads for Thor 2 and Captain America 2 come up you're going to post "the first movies were terrible blah blah blah" in those too, correct? Other people have said they didn't like the movies, and I haven't said anything to them -- everyone is entitled to their opinion. I couldn't care less if you say something negative regarding it, I enjoyed the movies just fine and don't need your validation.

You seem pretty upset. Need a Happy Meal? I assume a 'Happy Meal' is appropriate since I can't see adults enjoying those two movies.

Meh... it was an okay episode.

Don't get me wrong, I like the show on its own, but when it's airing new eps at the same time as shows like Young Justice and Legend of Korra, it seems so corny by comparison. I suppose it just targets a younger audience.

Are those good? I saw Young Justice on xbox live's marketplace, but I hadn't heard of it before (ditto for Korra).

Young Justice is the latest series from Greg Weisman ("Gargoyles," "Spectacular Spider-Man,") and it is AWESOME. Season long continuing story arc about the Justice League commissioning a covert/black ops team of sidekicks and young heroes that do the dirty work while the League puts on a front and takes the heat/attention. Features realistic interactions, and is very character driven, with by far the best Action/fight choreography in current American Animation. I mean, how can you go wrong featuring characters like Red Arrow, Aqualad, Robin, Superboy, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, Artemis, Zatanna, Rocket (Rocket!!!)... highly recommended.

Legend of Korra is the continuation of "Avatar: The Last Airbender", taking place 70 years after that series and featuring Aang's successor as Avatar, a waterbending girl named Korra. So far it's been damn good, featuring their trademark humor and top notch action and animation, but just been two eps. Still, this creative team can do no wrong, so I only expect it to continue.
