Just a quick question... In order to watch the most Rockets games, what option would be best for me? I just moved from Houston to Indianapolis so now I don't have to deal with CSN (I'm assuming) but I'm not sure if I should buy league pass or NBATV. Also, if I were to go league pass, does the mobile version for tablets and phones work on my Xbox One as well. I know there was an app for it on the console itself, but if I can avoid the ridiculous prices and just get the mobile version, I'd do that as well. I have NFL Sunday Ticket and can watch games on my Xbox with the mobile version I think. I'm assuming the NBA has something similar? I may just get the mobile version anyway as I work 3rd shift so I will probably be watching games on my tablet at work or on the computer anyway.
Remember, League Pass is blacked out if the game is on NBA TV or ESPN/TNT/ABC. It is also blacked out if it is on a local channel, for instance if Rox are playing the Pacers and it is televised locally. Assuming you can afford it, I'd get the standard TV league pass, which means you can also use it on your laptop, tablet etc. I'm not sure if the mobile version is compatible with XBOX. I'd also recommend getting NBA TV for the "complete" package.
you can watch nearly any sports stream for free at www.vipbox.tv. I love that site man, sometimes the quality isn't great, but it is usually solid. Can't complain since it's free haha
They are the same, unless you mean buy NBALP Broadband only vs NBALP Premium which includes both Broadband and TV. I recommend Broadband, whether or not you get the complete package or not. Broadband as archives now from 2 yrs ago. So you can actually watch last years games. The advantage of the NBALP for TV is you get all the games, so with a DVR you can record every game. Broadband makes you select 5 teams, only. I get both. I need Broadband because I'm in Mountain timezone, so I'm often still at work for EST Rockets games, so watch at work. I will say that the DVR-style controls of NBALP Broadband suck. If you haven't caught up to the game by the time it ends, the game will stop playing and go into "Archiving" mode. It takes like 2 hours for the game to show up as available again. It's not like Real TV DVR. It's like...you can't keep streaming while you are archiving...just ridiculous.
I'm not following your terminology. I'm pretty sure the NBA lists the three packages like this: NBALP TV -- all the NBA TV channels...all games, but no Internet. NBALP Broadband -- only internet, and you are restricted to 5 teams. NBALP Premium -- both TV and Broadband Isn't that their terminology
I guess I meant NBALP Premium. And I think there is a Broadband package that includes all teams and a cheaper one with the five teams.
