Good to hear Oswalt is thinking about the 'Stros future too and not being selfish

Yankees front-runner for Dan Haren; could acquire him.

"Loud Mouths" said Greinke was available, and if they try to trade for him with Soria....I think that'll be better for the Phillies

Good, because if the trade rumors are true, the Astros would have gotten **** in return.

Didn't Greinke recently overcome some kind of anxiety disorder?

I wonder how he'd handle pitching regularly in a city like Philly.

Yea, I meant any big city...

Hopefully the guy is fully over whatever was afflicting him if he ends up in NY, Phi, etc...

considering Oswalt himself said that he doesn't know where all this option having to be picked up stuff is coming from, I tend to believe him over anyone else.

Roy said there are certain "circumstances" if you will. Say, if he was going to the Cardinals, he wouldnt demand that his option be exercised or whatever. If he goes to the Phillies, I think he wants that exercised before he approves a trade.

Ken_Rosenthal #Yankees not on Oswalt, remain open on Haren. "Would do something pretty significant" to get him, source says. #Diamondbacks #Astros #MLB

Ken_Rosenthal #Astros asked #Dodgers for both major-league position players and prospects for Oswalt. Not happening. #MLB

Sheets is headed towards the DL, so that helps increase Oswalt's value. Lilly looks like he'll be traded soon, so hopefully he doesn't go to one of Oswalt's primary suitors and take them out of the picture.

The Phillies, along with a dozen other clubs, will scout Oswalt tonight as he takes the mound against the Reds, tweets Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia.

i guess the pressure is somewhat on tonight.

an audition, going for the stros win record, and his final (likely) game as an astro, all in 3 hours.

good luck roy. end it with a bang.

So teams want Oswalt, yet they don't wanna pay or give up something to get him....what a joke, if Oswalt was a free agent teams would be giving him this kind of money anyway annd you can't get a proven ace for free
