Well, Oswalt is done for the year... minus a one game playoff with St. Louis if it comes down to that... so his stats aren't going to get any worse. Also, being on the front page of espn.com right now, and getting all this publicity with the comeback, can only help him sway some votes... whoever wins, its going to be a close one.
Webb and Carpenter go sunday. I assume Oswalt would go tuesday, probably 50/50 shot of happening. Outside of a clinching shutout by Carpenter--and even then it might not be enough, I think it goes to Webb or Oswalt.
Well, after Webb got shelled today, Roy O officially has the ERA title, and he is only one win shy of Webb. I don't see Carpenter winning after the last few performances he had down the stretch. I think we've got the Cy Young award winner here. Who's with me?
