Jesus, are you Joel Osteen?(no pun intended). Were you there during an entire summer of services where he took donations in the back, grabbed two big ole handfuls and took it with him after every service? Cause I know someone who was...and saved it from his snapchat. Not once, not twice, not three times, but literally after EVERY service he volunteered at. Joel Osteen goes to the back, donations are out there. He takes 2 massive heaps of it, and let's the rest sit there. In one video, he comes back for a 3rd helping lol. So I suggest you stop fronting, this dude's a phony. Always has been, always will be.
Joel Olsteen is popular because our generation likes his message He basically says pray for earthly things you want I see people thanking God for materialism all the time on social media. I used to get wound up about it but that would make me judgemental which is also against the spirit of Christianity The bottom line is people are good for the most part even the members of Lakewood so who cares. If Olsteen is getting rich at least the people making him rich can afford to give their money to him. Its really no big deal
Osteen could learn a few things from Mattress Mack. Mack doesn't wait for someone to ask. When he sees people in need he reacts. Sure, you can say that Mack gets a lot of free advertising for his efforts. But, the man is always there when people are in need.
Disgusting that people used the Harvey tragedy to further their Christian bashing agenda... The Muslims in particular were all over my facebook feed trumpeting this story, while talking about how mosques were open to all. Osteen opened his doors, thank him, not b!tch about him taking too long to do it. Grow up and focus your energy on the recovery, not the typical D&D bickering.
Typical cuck move, changing the subject. You have no shame, absolutely no shame. Maybe it's because people have a problem with him perverting christianity and the concept of charity. I really hope there is a Matress Mack out there for every shitstain like yourself in this city. There has to be with all the togetherness I've seen, but you go right ahead preaching division like you just did right there attacking other faiths when it's clear the majority of those attacking good ol' Joel are christian. I'll say it again, you are a terrible terrible human being, I hope you teach your progeny better than the way you carry yourself..it's pitiful really.
The truth tends to strike a nerve. Gather yourself - when all you can do is go on an insult binge, it tells the rest of us you don't have any logic or reason to go on. Pull it together, kid.
Alright, lets back up then cuck-tex. I apologize if the bull topic is still sensitive, I'm sorry k? Lets keep conversing, I miss you bud. Calling good ol' Joel out for lining his pockets while preaching the word of Jesus---while ignoring the foundation of what Jesus preached---is anti-christian? Sounds like you're knee deep in the scam business as well. Care to elaborate? I thought we were just at the n-word point..
Whether people jumped to conclusions about Olsteen or not, this is funny. I'm stealing it from a friend on Facebook. I am not able to present it as artfully as they did. bad pastor good pastor
i do not trust any self enriched individual from religion ,regardless of what's that faith/religion is , but i don't see how can anyone blame this guy... Osteen. (consider the following as a free sample of my future lectures...it's very inspiring and energetic ) . from Matthew you might heard the story of Jesus when his best friend John was imprisoned, according to your bible , Jesus was busy, or he had different priorities so he let his buddy wait......... , when John was killed and his head was gifted to the Queen's daughter for her BD party Jesus was on a boat. ... and acted like if he was surprised b/c he is a God ! and he knew in advance right! ... then he met the Jews who asked him for miracle , Jesus was in a bad mood and told them no more miracle , and went back on a boat. so ...maybe Osteen was bored of miracles or probably he was on a boat, its always better later than never nonetheless
Were you there when all your wrote about took place? No? It was hearsay from someone you know who was? Hmm. Well I could just as easily talk about the people I know who volunteer at Lakewood and while at the back of the church, never saw Osteen interact with the donations/tithes received. But sure, carry on with your story. I get it, people mad at Osteen. Prosperity Gospel, big house, church should have been opened, blah blah. Was his the only large church in Houston that was closed until Wednesday? Did other so-called prosperity preachers have opened churches or is it just Osteen "we"/ "the internets" have decided to focus their indignation at? His church is open, they are assisting people. Can we move along now?
