Sophia is like 35 yrs old, no way the Academy gives her best director at such a young age.

BTW, Maria Menuenos is looking finnnnnnnnnnnne. She's supposed to be wearing a 2.5 million diamond studded dress. She's banging.

    Angelina Jolie.

    Wow.

The hottest woman at the Oscars no doubt.

She's not even 35, she's 32. Her father didn't win for The Godfather at age 33 (though he won Best Adapted Screenplay with Mario Puzo that year... and the movie won Best Picture, of course).

But I just think she's going to get it because it's so very rare to have a woman nominated for Best Director and, just like the Academy was so big on honoring African-Americans a couple of years ago, they'll want to give the award to a woman while they can. It may well be another thirty years until another woman is nominated for Best Director.

Did anybody see that 13year old Whale Rider girl?

When she met Johnny Depp she was about to have an orgasm.

BTW Crystal is an amazing host. He probably snorted a pound of coke to be able to act so brazenly.

Man the PA just screwed up. They called the win for the Art Department in LOTR, Return of the King, but then the PA announced The Two towers...

    Man, Angelina is SMOKING tonight.

    Agreed.

I would have rather had Benecio (first choice), or Watanabe win it. But I'm happy with Robbins.

    UGH.

Besides snubbing Last Samurai twice and giving the awards to undeserving LOTR people, Renee Zelwegger wins.

    UGH.

Cold Mountain. One of the worst movies of all time, Renee with one of the worst performances of all time.

    UGH.

Snubbing? Geez. IMO Lord of the Rings deserved them all.

I wasn't a huge fan of Last Samurai.

I thought the Michael Moore cameo in the intro was pretty funny.
