well u are seeing the same case w/ wade w/ a bad shoulder. he hesitates to drive in as much and b/c he doesn't have a legit perimeter game => not that great. and if wade doesn't improve his shot, he's not gonna have many more dominant yrs.

tmac has evolved his game dramatically from his orlando days and still dominates.

Yeah especially with a bum shoulder Wade will be done, but fear not, Wade is too good of a player to NOT work on his jumper.

I guarantee you my friend in 2 years Wade will have a quality jumpshot and probably 3 point range to boot.

It's obvious T-Mac isn't quite as athletic as he used to be, or even if he is, there's no way his body can withstand the pounding he used to endure. He's learned to be a great player without punishing his body much. You'll see guys like Wade, LeBron, and Melo, in 5-6 years (which is a long time, yes) who are going to tone down their game little by little because of there slipping athleticism. Kobe, although obviously still a great player, does not play like he once used to. Iverson, although still relentless and fearless while driving the lane, does not give up his body quite like he used to (unless he is flopping now, which I hate). Amare has guarnateed his stay in this league 3-4 more seasons because he's developed a jumpshot.

Guys like Dwight Howard will start to work on their jumpshots, or hooks, or whatever soon enough because he will need it once his freakish athleticism slows down.

Not that it will happen anytime soon, just saying. 5 years ago, T-Mac used to be just like Wade, LeBron, and Anthony are now.

Hey I wouldn't have a problem with that! Would you all have a problem with that? :D

As a player there's a reason that the big O was a top 50 all time player. The guy was good! That being said Oscar never won a championship so, his credibility is shaky there due to largely disappointing playoff finishes. T-Mac does need to take better shots and be more efficient with the basketball. We're getting away with mistakes that will haunt us in the latter rounds. The team needs to start playing with more efficiency on the offensive end and be brutal with the defense and the rebounds.

Remember though, T-Mac watched from the sidelines a game 7 in Dallas that was as brutal a game to watch as I have ever seen. Rockets at least get a split in Utah. T-Mac won't allow for any thing less.

    It's playoff time! It's money time! It's T-Mac time!

i think JVG talked about letting tmac have his freedom in picking where to shoot. yeah he takes several bad shots a game, but he also makes alot of those as well. he's no rafer alston now, come on. :p

I too am sick of watching mac too many silly jumpshots. i believe him along with parker are two best dribble penetration cats going around. it astounds me how little he uses that lethal weapon of his.

The difference is Kobe doesn't have a Yao in his team. So who does he pass to to get a better shot than his? But in these 2 games I notice TMac has been ignoring Yao quite a bit and tried to go it alone, except for a few plays. It seems to me he wants "to impose his will" on the Jazz by himself.

Many of you are not making any sense, just becuause T-mac took bad shots in one game does not mean anything. Anyone who watched any basketball this year knows T-mac did not do this often. Oscar is a moron this is probaly the first game that he watched and came to a conclusion on how T-mac plays thats a joke. Nobody could argue that T-mac took good shots, but c'mon the guy rarely took bad shots throughout the season, theres a reason why he averaged 6.5 assists.

if patterson really does have cured his back to an extent that he won't have severe back spasms, he could play more great yrs since he paced himself very good this season. basically missing no games after the first bout and after seeing patterson.

yao has taken 21 shots a game and tmac has taken 6.

tmac hasn't passed to him sometimes b/c yao doesn't have great position. he's always out of the paint. that's why his fg% in this series is 40%. the only reason is b/c yao is not close to the basket and is resorting a lot to those fadeaways.

so mac is taking it into his own hands. though he's missing too

Tmac is doing very well right now, do I care what other people are saying?
No. Need win the Jazz series first, then go to the next.

Check your history... 1970-71 Bucks won NBA Title. Take a guess at a starting guard, and for extra credit, starting center.

All I want from TMac is :

    - Go back and take a good look at how you destroyed the Suns at the end of regular season and try to bring that everytime you step on the court!

I may be a little late on this but Big O did in fact win a championship with the Bucks in 1970 he did have a little help from a rookie named Lew Alcindor but he has a ring none the less. Either way its constructive criticism coming from the only guy in league history to average a triple double for a season. As far as I'm concerned he can say whatever the hell he wants. I know I sure as hell cringe sometimes when T-mac starts launching from Sugar Land (to quote Worrell). On the same token defenses are geared to keep him out of the wing area, which is where I rather see him shoot from.
