Oscar Pistorius (Blade Runner) accidently shoots girlfriend

This is purely speculative on my part but am just thinking outloud. The police said they are testing Pistorius for alcohol and other drugs given how many doping scandals there are out there I am wondering if steroids might've had something to do with this.

Sad...was easily the #1 feel good story about the Olympics.

So many questions arise. History of domestic abuse/violence? Arsenal of guns in a gated community with security? Roid rage? Girl sneaking into home at 3 AM? Wouldn't he have asked who she was or given a warning first?

After the Dorner story and the Alabama kidnapper story and Sandy Hook and the vengeful dad, I'm burned out on murder news. I've got no strength left to be curious about yet another murder. People are ****ed up. That is all.

 

Are you insinuating that he may have murdered his girl due to roid rage?

 

I'm not insinuating but speculating that roid rage had something to do with it. I fully admit I have no evidence to support that Pistorius had been taking steroids but just thinking out loud.

 

Like others saying they don't think it was unintentional, I agree

He had TWO dogs for protection. The dogs apparently didn't think "the intruder" was a threat. It seems he went with shoot first ask questions/see the result later.

Yet he was also the #1 feel bad story about the Paralympics with his b*tching and whining.

Yep. The news almost isn't worth following any more. It's just a bunch of chaos/grief (with a few feel good stories mixed in) and there is going to be that with all these people in the world upping the percentages of whack jobs. Unless NK has dropped military in my backyard ala "Red Dawn", then I don't give a damn any more. It's exhausting trying to keep up.

And, this crazy news coverage over this cruise ship. They must have interviewed the same little girls traveling with their Daddies like twenty times on CNN's various news segments alone. Talking about milking something that isn't worth milking. So, you're stuck on a ship in no apparent danger with a few inconveniences. It could be worse. Hardly worth the news coverage it is getting. So fascinating it is not.

A part of me does ache for those old days when everyone was ignorant of national and world affairs. But, they had the opposite problem way back then. Little to no news...ever. lol

 

Supposedly he has an electric fence surrounding his home as well. I think I read or heard it today on the radio, but was half a sleep.
