I'm picking DLH in this one.

DLH has been inactive, but that may have preserved him and it may have him a little rusty, but I think Freddie Roach, Manny Pacquiao's trainer, will have him in tip top condition.

The keys will be DLH's power, jab, and big fight expierience. Another problem for Floyd is that his daddy just spilt the beans on Floyd's shoulder roll defense while training Oscar for the past few years. I'm sure DLH knows quite a bit now about Floyd's defense and it's weaknesses.

DLH even at this age, is by far the best fighter Floyd has ever faced.

Some say Floyd already lost a fight vs Castillo and got dropped by Judah.

The only way Floyd wins, is by fighting his slap and run style, but I think Floyd is going to get brave as he got booed in his last fight in his hometown for fighting like this and cried tears and all afterwards.

Getting brave either for trying to be more entertaining or for getting tired of getting that DLH jab pumped in his face will be his downfall, he will get caught with a DLH left hook and lights out.

But then again, Floyd's a tremendously talented fighter and wouldn't be suprised if he won, but I am picking DLH.

De la Hoya had better knock him out and use that size and strength, if not Mayweather will win the fight.

Have you guys heard about he fight in July with Bernard Hopkins vs. Winky Wright??I heard a radio interview with Hopkins talking about the DLH/ Mayweather and I wasn't sure if I got that right. Sounds like a good fight perhaps.

agreed, except the slap and running strategy, NO WAY he wins if he does that against Oscar. People will boo him right out of the place.

Floyd is faster with great defense but a lack of power. I don't think he can hurt Oscar. Oscar is getting old, but hasn't fought like it yet. Fighters tend to get old all at once. If Oscar does not run out of gas, I belive he can catch Floyd eventually and get him out of there. If it goes to the scorecard, Floyd will win easily.

Oscar is the most overrated fighter of all time. When has Oscar really won a big fight? The dude is a very good fighter but not a great one. He will get destroyed by Mayweather.

Oscar's popularity gave him the win against Pernell and Quartey, but he hasn't got the benefit of the doubt since then.

Overrated? No one in boxing today has a better resume than DLH. You can't have it both ways, you can't say he got gift decisions against Pernell and Quartey and not mention that he was robbed vs Trinidad and Sugar Shane II.

The only man to ever "destroy" DLH was Hopkins, probably the best middleweight EVER. DLH had no business at 160 and he knew it, but he tried because he fights the best, something Floyd doen't like to do.

When you fight the best fighters, future hall of famers left and right, you can't expect to dominate everytime out. If Floyd had fought Pernell, Chavez, Trinidad, Quartey, Mosley, Hopkins, an undefeated Gonzalez and Hernandez, Floyd would not have a 0 in the loss column either.

DLH lost to all time greats, future Hall of Famers, many believe Floyd lost to freakin Castillo.

Floyd is going to destroy DLh? How is he going to do that? Floyd had very poor power at 147 and will have even less at 154 and remember, Floyd has very fragile hands.

Floyd could go in with no gloves and be sporting brass knuckles and he still wouldn't be able to even knockdown DLH.

The problem is that in my opinion and many other boxing fans, he lost all of them except for the Chavez fight. Chavez was however 90 fights into his career by then. The Trinidad fight was close but I still give Trinidad the edge.

Floyd doesn't need power to beat DLH because DLH doesn't really have the power to stop Floyd. The fight will go the distance with Floyd winning at least 8 rounds.

I'll even make a tip jar bet on it. I will put 10 dollars in the tip jar for every round DLH wins more than Mayweather does and 50 bucks if Floyd gets knocked out. Which ever is higher.

Obviously not enough to stop Pernell, Quartey, Trinidad, Mosely, and Hopkins.

Oh, you speak for many other boxing fans?

LOL, DLH lost all his fights.

You give Tito the win on your scorecard? You just lost ALL boxing credibility.

Uh, yeah, Floyd does need power. How in the hell is Floyd going to keep DLH honest and off of him? DLH does know things like how to cut off the ring very well.

Oscar doesn't have the power to stop Floyd? Now that is just r****ded.

Just take a gander at Oscar's last fight.

Mayorga is bigger than Floyd and stuck out his chin litteraly to let Tito Trinidad and Vernon Forrest tee off on him, Tito hurt him a little and Forrest couldn't even make Mayorga blink, he let Forrest do it repeatedly.

140 pound Corley hurt Floyd a few times and 147 pound Judah dropped Floyd, but DLH can't?

I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is. Are you? Here's sweetener for you. If DLH knocks out Mayweather. I will put "DLH is the greatest fighter of all time and I want to have his baby" in my sig for a month.

    Are we on?

What do you have to lose. The worse thing that can happen is that you get to use the search function and edit your posts.

I've already done all the betting I wanted to do with this fight. That is why I present facts and opinions that have explainations behind them. I'm not the blind hater here.

You are the one with a problem with one of the fighters for some reason and I've already said it wouldn't suprise me if Floyd won.

If I were you, I would be posting things such as "I don't think Floyd has enough speed to beat DLH to the punch" and "Floyd lost all of his decisions."

If you have a personal problem with Oscar maybe you should go talk to him, just watch out for that left hook.

or atleast consult Fernando Vargas before you do.

Speaking of which, Fernando Vargas is set to fight Ricardo Mayorga on the same night as the DLH and Floyd fight.

Mayweather - Michael Jordan of boxing. Except Ali was the Michael Jordan of boxing. Er, second coming then.

He will knock out De Hoya

Floyd doesn't need power and he is not a knockout fighter. He will do what he always does punch and run. I doubt DLH actually gets any shots at him. I want to see mayweather lose, but as long as he uses his skills and doesn't try something stupid he can't be beat.
