This D.Howard kid hasnt even bumped with any big college PF's. I doubt he can hang in the NBA. Orlando is gonna regret not getting Omeka.

If Orlando picked Okafor, they would have a team that can compete right now in the East. Francis, Mobley, Cato, Okafor, and whom ever at the three. If Hill was going to be healthy, that would be a really nice team. But I don't expect Hill to be healthy.

Howard represents the exact reason that T-Mac wants out of Orlando.

Gee. That's... nice, Dwight. I want a pony, but that doesn't mean I'll get it. :)

    I want a ball
    I want a party
Pink macaroons and a million balloons
    And performing baboons and ...
    Give it to me
    Now!

    I want the world
    I want the whole world
I want to lock it all up in my pocket
    It's my bar of chocolate
    Give it to me
    Now!

    I want today
    I want tomorrow
I want to wear 'em like braids in my hair
And I don't want to share 'em

I want a party with room fulls of laughter
Ten thousand tons of ice cream
And if I don't get the things I am after
    I'm going to scream!

    I want the works
    I want the whole works
Presents and prizes and sweets and surprises
    Of all shapes and sizes
    And now
    Don't care how
    I want it now
    Don't care how
    I want it now!!

He wasn't dissing Sf at all. At this point, Tmac is still under contract w/ORL. It would be foolish for him to talk about players that might be coming and going. Besides, I'm sure he has paid very little attention to what was going on this past week with the Tmac tade talk. I also have a feeling that once/if this trade goes thru ORL might be better than people think and that HOU will not be as good as some on this board seem to think. It looks light ORL may trade CAT and Gooden to MIA for C Butler. Grant Hill, from all accounts, is as close to being able to play as he has ever been (this is the first time he actually took a year off the heal after an operation). If hill is 80% of what he once was, ORl should compete for a top 5 position in the east. A starting line-up of SF, Butler, Hill, Howard, Cato. Bench players are Garrity, Bogans, Nelson, DeClercq. That's a solid team with only hill as a question mark. HOU, even with TMAC, lacks a point, rebounding and a defensive 3. And they play in the west. Howard is a terrible 4 in the west.

let's not forgett that houston was a winning team in west and francis, mobley and cato contribute alot with that.
And the players we are sending isn't so one dimensional I think because they've played under different systems and now they also have some playoff experience also

T-Mac isn't going to listen to this kid. Why would T-Mac want to play with some cocky, high school kid, who proclaims to be the next KG, and has yet to play with anyone over 18yrs old.

This guy has Kwame Brown written all over him. T-Mac knows that these 2 rookies still aren't enough to make them that much better.

This article totally left out the fact that Howard said if it's Steve Francis on his team he would love to play with him too.

"Whoever stays, whoever goes, I think it’ll turn out great. I’d love to play with T-Mac. If it’s Steve Francis, I’d love to play with him. I’m willing to learn right now. That’s one thing – I’m ready to play.”

Who does this guy think he is, saying publically that he wants T-Mac to stay?

Remember, this is the same guy who wanted to put a cross on the NBA logo. Gotta have a pretty big ego to try to cover up Jerry West just because of his beliefs. Naive kid, how cute.

I just find it kind of ironic that T-Mac says he doesnt want to wait for a high school player to develop and be part of project when he was one himself and due to his success along with KG,Kobe,O'Neal,Amare and LBJ is the reason why people like Howard are getting drafted.

That being said, its not gonna chance my views on T-mac whatsoever I WANT HIM, and I WANT HIM ON THE ROCKETS BAD!

It is understandable he wants to be on a real winner and real soon. I think Tracy understands that a ring doesnt happen overnight it takes like 2-3 years of building up then you win with some fine tuning. Even with Kobe and Shaq they had to play 4 years and endure some playoff failures before they won it all. Even Tracy understands that even if he comes to houston they wont probably make the finals next year maybe even not the year after I dont know, but they will be in the finals in soon enough and while he and yao are still young. With orlando it make take 3-4 years for Howard to develop and then they would have to really mesh Howard will not have the dominating factor that Shaq has and that Yao may possibly have (I hope) soon which will help speed the process up. IF T-mac stays in orlando and howard does pan out to be the next KG they may make it to the finals when T-mac is 30-31 at earliest. With the rockets there is a chance it could be next year itself, I dont think it will be, but here is a chance for McGrady to make a real name for himself and get rings, possibly a lot of them real fast
