That trade made Philly and LA worse, the Nuggets are back where they started (since Affalo's back), and Orlando barely ended up with anything. Crazy.
Another team that doesn't seem to get it..... this is the WESTERN conference. Go big, or go home. If you aren't saving up space or signing demigods you're wasting everybody's time.
Vucecic is a decent young center, but the Rockets offer was potentially better. The funny part was, IIRC, Orlando was trumpeting Affalo as the centerpiece and better than anything houston could have offered after the deal. Guess not.
The Hornets offered Gerald Henderson and the No. 24 pick to the Orlando Magic for Arron Afflalo before Afflalo was traded to Denver, according to ESPN's Chad Ford. They will reportedly continue to shop Henderson. http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-basketball/24598155/2014-nba-draft-latest-news-rumors-and-trades
Last 2 months of the season Faried was playing at an all-star level. If he maintains his play into next year, he'll start getting more recognition.
Phew. I have been worried that OKC would flip someof their youngsters/ a pick for Afflalo. Would have been a nice 3rd player for them.
Lol this is so funny didn't they say Afflalo was the center piece of the trade? 3 no name guys for the best center in the league
Yeah I kinda feel bad for him. He'd be a good 6th man or 3rd or 4th option kind of guy for a contender or good playoff team. Instead hes been on medicore nuggets and piss poor orlando teams.
I disagree on medicore , they just had a bad season last year . lawson . Faried . That gallo was pretty good . Affalo will help them alot . There center was injured the whole season ( mcgee )
Don't feel so bad. He's likely to opt out of the last year on his deal and can sign up with a contender. In fact there is a possibility that he could get flipped closer to next year trade deadline.
