Just admit it hayesfan... u think TT doesn't have sexy arms... Same reason why u like Mike Harris was it? Thats why u hate TT and like Big Baby. Nothing softer than the arm skin of a baby.
Uk fan here too, I could put up with the LSU players but couldn't stand Noah. I said he would be a bust and it looks like it of course that was an easy call.
LOL Maybe that's it.. I hate the scrawny No I like other scrawny people... like Tayshaun... so I continue my search for the reason. I think it's all about their attitude. Big Baby has personality... Shaq has attitude. Which is why I think I liked BB and HATE Shaq. And that picture is rather frightening... lol considering he did that whole five minute thing about which character on Sex in the City he was with Chris Bosh.. well... let's just say I wonder if Amaechi and Glen Big Baby Davis have something in common I keed I keed! Man I totally hijacked my own freaking thread. Maybe when I watch Beasley again tomorrow I can get it back on track.
This "potential" thing is as good as advertised. I heard Michael Olowokandi had lots of potential too. There were reasons Candy man was drafted #1. A dude like Rose is drafted on his potential because he's young. Oh, he needs to improve his shootings, he needs to improve his court vision, AST/TO ratio. That's a lot to ask for. If Rose NBA career AST/TO ratio will be better than 2.5:1, I will say he surprises me and he's better than I think.
In response to the guy that said Beasley was better than Rose and Rose would never be CP3/Williams, I think as the season goes along, we're going to see alot more of this myopic nonsense. Derrick Rose wasn't picked for now. He is going to struggle this season. He's what - a 20 year old point guard being asked to save a franchise? The Rose pick can only be judged a few years down the line when he grows into the position. And I think the kid will be absolutely terrific. Deron Williams didn't become Deron Williams from the start. Beasley however will dominate from the start, especially being flanked by Marion and Wade. As a fan of basketball, I am very thankful that Pat Riley didn't trade him away as was being speculated. Beasley will run away with the ROY award this year, but it's far too early to predict who will be better in the long run.
Point gurad and center are the two positions that take most time to develop into. Great point guards like Nash didnt become who they are right away. I will give Rose at least a season or two to judge hind. This is not saying Beasley - is not better than him production Wise no w
Here are the box scores for the Orlando Summer League games. All games will show up at this same link as they go final. http://www.nba.com/magic/news/sl_stats.html So far, Mario Chalmers is looking like a great pick and I'm not surprised. He'll need to improve is his FG% and it would be nice if he could grab a few rebounds, but he's been very solid early on. Game 1: 11 points (2-8 shooting), 6 assists, 4 steals, 1 turnover Game 2: 19 points (5-10 shooting), 2 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals, 3 turnovers
Some things that stood out from the box scores: Brook Lopez had 7 fouls in 19 mins. Beasly shot 1 for 13 fro the field after demolishing the Bulls yesterday. I guess if anything else these stats show that the summer league stats are not very meaningful.
Of course I say this in jest but it's true: This OKC team might be the best summer league squad in history. KD, Jeff Green (who looks VERY good out there) and Russell Westbrook. The Magic team must have a pretty sore behind.
Courtney Lee dominated from a scoring perspective today. I also think at the end of the day, Seattle probably made the right choice with Westbrook. Though I wish they would have taken Bayless...then it's highly likely he wouldn't have slipped enough for the Blazers to trade for him...
I wish for once in my g**damn life Firefox would work with nba.com videos. This is officially bull****.
